i have heard this argument time and time again. name a couple of PC shooters that are standouts besides HL2?

can he honestly say 5-6 years ago? do you guy remember what we were playing 5-6 years ago on PC? it was games like CS Wolfenstein, and Quake 3. i think console shooters are maybe a 2-3 years behinds tops.

5 or 6 years ago we were playing Deus Ex and System Shock 2. Consoles shooters have not been able to match the complex gameplay of those games (except for the PS2 port of Deus Ex, obviously).
