I would rate Deus Ex and System Shock 2 in terms of indepth gameplay miles beyond Halo. I mean heck, Halo hasn't really done anything new. As I established earlier in this thread, Crytek was speaking in Hyperbole. While not 5-6 years behind, you can bet your sweet.... that console FPS games are indeed behind.Vandalvideo

well.... HL2 beats 99% of the console games out there still and its 3 years old. Far Cry is similar to HL2 in terms of its graphics. Throw in mods and holy **** you got a freaking landslide in favor of the PC. My games from almost 10 years ago (Deus Ex) look great thanks to mods... Mods should be considered when talking about games...

B) If Halo 3 has a modding universe....see, that's why I never throw in mods when discussing the core game. I'm sorry but when I buy a PC game it doesn't come packaged with a bunch of pre-installed texture mods. Yes they are there but they =/= a part of the game, they are add-ons only.

crysis mp is great, my brother is on the beta(i was the one who accuatly got in but hes the one with the new rig =p) and i can say that the game is awsome, looking foward to it

Crysis beta is kinda sad to say that BEING A BETA has better graphics than any other game out there, and we r talking about a beta, not even a demo,,, The beta is awsome 56 times more,,, is fast and is action all teh tim, up to 36 players co op, or team deatmatch, we can only play in one map cus is a beta but so far is great in all teh fields,, GAEPLAY is great best shooter game ever.
