[QUOTE="RTCWGR1SCRB6H2"]ps3 annihillation continuationfree_milkthis thread is about pc dumbass and btw dark souls looks better on xbox 360  OI DUMBASS LEM since when do you lems never go into my uncharted threads and say stuff how it's bad.? stupid hypocrit
The new content that is essentially a PC timed exclusive is already a reason to get the PC version.
And also the fact that I can finally play Dark Souls at a stable framerate and possibly a better online system...
Well, it's got a steady 30 FPS frame rate, that's something the console version wishes it had. I've seen friends play the game on PS3 and the frame-rate is all over the place about 40% of the time.
But locking it down to 30 FPS, AND locking the buffer resolution to SUB-HD is UNHEARD of for a modern PC port. Even the worst of the worst ports will let you set the resolution to whatever your monitor's native rez is. This is somehting that a couple fo thousand bucks to a third party PC port developer would have fixed, jeebus, that's lazy.
Here's hoping the great PC modding community flocks to this game and improves it.
On actually purchasing it - I probably will. It's not up to PC standards in terms of graphics, but the gameplay should be just as good as the console version - actually better since I won't have to worry about frame rate hitches. And I would rather these guys come out fo the experience of developing a PC port of their games with a "Let's do better next time guys!" attitude rather than a "never again!" outlook on the whole endevour.
It's also a game I WANT to play, but not badly enough to spend severla hundred dollars on a PS3 - somethign that to me would be about as useful as an overpriced blu-ray player. So PC verison it is.
How can the gameplay be better if there are less people to play with? Framerate only affects 2 single player areas. MP locales do not suffer from this.Well, it's got a steady 30 FPS frame rate, that's something the console version wishes it had. I am pretty sure these issues will be fixed quickly.
LA noire was locked at 30 FPS too but a mod to remove the cap was made soon after the game was released.

I'm sorry, are you visiting us from the future?
We don't know how many units it will sell on PC, and regardless, the number of PC gamers who routinely play online is MUCH larger than the number of PS3 gamers who game online. The ratio is significant enough that even if the game doesn't sell all that well on PC do to these porting issues, it's probable that the online community won't be far behind the PS3 in terms of size.
Bottom line is, I don't know, you don't know. Why don't you bring up this point again once we DO know, instead of asserting your opinion on a possible future event as fact?
As for the frame rate - don't lie. I'm a PC gamer but I own consoles, and I have freinds that do as well. I've see this game running on a TV in front of me, and while the frame rate is REALLY bad in only a few places, it is very inconsisitent through out a decent portion of the game.

yeah im pretty sure you can turn it off No you can't. How it works is that there is something called humanity. You use this to become human. Once human you can summon others and also invade others. You cannot while undead(Hollow). When someone invades you, you cannot quit the game and must find the person and fight to the death. If you try to DC your save file will probably go corrupt so yeah. yeah im pretty sure you can turn it off Playing offline is not a solution to invading it's a silly mistake new players always make because they think everyone who invades will instantly kill you... PVP is part of the magic, if you're going to turn the whole multiplayer aspect (including co op and other extremely helpful features) off then you might as well throw the game in the trash.[QUOTE="jun_aka_pekto"]
