Yeah but he's clear that the plans depend on the reviews. He wasn't hyped and didn't expect good reviews, therefore, no plans on buying it unless the scores are good. Reading comprehension is key here.

Nah, Crackdown 3 was bad. It didn't even have whatever the charm the first game had. It was garish, clunky and the platforming was nauseating. Xbox has had WAY better games this gen. Gears 4, Cuphead, FH4, Sunset Overdrive... I even thought Quantum Break was decent. That's why I have no idea why people were defending the game. A lot of people were being extra hard on it because it was an obvious huge downgrade from what was presented. MS shouldn't get away with that.

Read the link I provided on page 4 post 197, and tell me he had no plans on buying it day 1, then come back here and tell me he's not a liar, because if you do then you will show everyone you're also a liar (something I already knew)

Tried Outcast, didn't seem too bad, it's based on an old game anyways, or is it a remake, don't know.

And still with all that and flopping still beat Sea of thieves,state of decay 2 and crackdown 3..

Clearly the game is not a mayor hit, but a 5 is beyond ridiculous. If they gave it a 7 it would be like yeah ok not a Horizon ZD level game but its ok. Will buy it when the price hits rock bottom one day and enjoy it.

They gave Mad Max a 6 and this a 5? Anyone with brain cells can see its a better game than Mad Max. Clearly should of got a 7 at least.

I've always said Gamespots reviews are shit no matter what game they're reviewing or what system its on.

If it interests you then you should get it, and if its shit then you can do what I said from the beginning of this thread and that's take it back to Gamestop.

I knew it wasn't a AAA game and always warned people not to expect 8.0 scores. I was always bouncing between 6.0 and 7.0.

MC is 72 so far. with 77 reviews.

So that prediction is holding true so far so your suggesting that Crackdown 3 is better overall makes you sound kinda desperate and delusional.

Crackdown 3 is 60 MC with 82 reviews.

Sorry but Crackdown 3 isn't better than Days Gone despite being worse than a lot of people here expected.

Seems like Sony's "pile of trash" still proves to be better than MS's brand of complete gutter trash.

Well, I was hoping for a better game. Glad I didn't preorder it. Was expecting a 7/10, but hoping for an 8/10. Haha, yeah, no that obviously didn't happen. I think a lot of us saw the writing on the wall last year when the game got delayed, but I was just hoping they'd get it together and put together a decent game. Oh well, I have a backlog to work through, thankfully.

As expected for the most part, never saw any gameplay that wowed me or anyone I know.

Still better than any of MS' flops.

I've never hyped Days Gone to be great so I'm not sure why you even suggested that in your post here. Also, the game is EXACTLY how I predicted it would turn out other than GS's review score.

No doubt 5 is not greater than 5 but when did GS become the end all be all?

GS is "1" opinion but you sound desperate trying to stamp that single score as a definitive opinion since you didn't take my MC prediction into consideration.

If you check any prediction I've made with Days Gone, all of them included MC.

Never stated or implied anything about you hyping the game just that 5 is not great or less than 5 and you are viciously damage controlling the game's low score. Don't get upset with me for GS scoring the game on the same level as Crackdown 3 and State of Decay 2.

I read what I said and the fact still is, I had no plans to buy it day one but I'm more surprise you are upset you want to me to hype this game so badly. Why?

I can't be damage controlling because there is nothing for me to damage control but the game you said is going to be better than anything MS released in the last three years got a 5/10 on GS while Forza Horizon 4 clocked 9/10 on GS and 92 on Metacritic.

The movie game honeymoon is over.

Reviewers no longer want to try out to be movie reviewers (who get payed more). This is the score most PS Movie games deserve and would have gotten if video game reviewers weren't trying to get into a better career. They seemingly gave up and also got tired of non gamer titles such as this.

@zaryia: actually no. If you read the review, the critique is basically that it's not a good movie game. Too much open world banality and not enough plot/character development and deep writing. Nothing has changed that I can see - this failed to satisfy the desire for Sony movie games

So, it was not movie game enough. :P

The open world formula has become tired, I'm glad reviewers won't have it anymore. It needs to be rebalanced towards quality and unique content with narrative context, rather than this checklist nonsens. Sad for the developer though, Im sure they put their everything into it.

What a flop. But will get it once it’s $20 or lower. Actually I’ll just rent it or borrow it from a friend. Too bad Sony doesn’t have anything close to GamePass where new games are added on release. No wonder Sony will be a no show at this E3.

that's really disappointing. thought it wouldn't set the world on fire but 5/10 is not just bad, it's fallout 76 bad.
