Dethroning the Console Graphics King (56k genocide)

In my humble, yet well developed opinion. I BELIEVE that uncharted's graphics are over rated. I am not stating this as fact, but I personally don't thinks it's all that impressive. I think that PS3 owners haven't really gotten a taste of the 360's graphics prowess, because I actually think the forest leves of Halo 3 look as good as Uncharted :P, so let's have a look.

I'm going to pick what I think show cases the graphics of a few games and let you compare them ok?

This is Halo 3 Multiplayer, which obviously has worse graphics than the Single Player. However I bet cows never took the time to look at Halo 3 before bashing it.

Just cause Gear's isn't as bright and colorful and flowery as Uncharted, doesn't mean it doesn't look better.

All in all, Uncharted does have a few areas that ARE amazing, but graphics king it is not. Now, when ps3 owners really get to see the later levels of Bioshock in Motion, they will be like damn.VulcanMage119

I think it is the console graphics king, although Bioshock is close behind.

When all is taken into consideration, there isn't a finer more vibrant visually appealing came then Halo 3 on any console. :D

I've played all of those games above, and I still think Uncharted looks better than them all. Gears is very close though, probably actually "even" with Uncharted, they're just so artistically different from eachother it's hard to compare.

Anyway, I would never compare Halo 3 to Uncharted. So you my friend - ARE WRONG!!!

Based on my personal experiences with both consoles the only game which comes close to Uncharted is Gears of War and in my opinion they are tied.smokeydabear076

I own Uncharted, but i think it's not the graphics king. IMO it's Gears for me.

I don't own it, and I'll be honest I've played it for no more than an hour so there ya go. Do you own Gears? Do you own Halo? I believe that if it was console KING I would notice how amazing it was with an hour of gameplay, unless it's only King in the 15 minute span later that I haven't played. I do indeed own Gears, Halo and Bioshock and I still think Uncharted beats them. I think you can only make a fair judgment when you have played the full game not just the first hour.

Even you said "when ps3 owners really get to see the later levels of Bioshock". Perhaps you should do that with Uncharted.

Hey and that's fine too. If you see it as better, it's better. I just hate how SW turned into Hivemind as soon as one GS employee (who was probably paid to say it) said that Uncharted MAY be the best graphics. Then everyone was like... uhhh ok

i see what you did to the second screen there you took a screen shot then blown it up to look more jaggy and less pixals.

i beat the game 6 times have unlock everything from donut drake to flip screens ect. and that sceen was never that close up. hpw about you find a screen shot of the suberian part or the part with the sun set in the back ground. i wish i can just cut and past screen shots so i can prove you wrong and show you how the second screen is wrong.

I didn't blow it up, I did the same thing with every single screen shot, taken directly from the same website (this one) I just copy/paste the full image

Are you... unintelligent? I posted Resistance screens to show that I'm not saying only 360 games look better to me, I think resistance has some breathtaking scenes

Anyone that owns both Uncharted and Halo 3 as well as an HDTV knows that Uncharted takes the cake. Halo 3 looks great and has excellent textures, but come one guys :?.

Color does not make a game look better really. It makes it look prettier. Gears is still the graphics king on 360. Then Bioshock.

Especially if you think Halo 3 looks better. :| Shiny armor =\= better looking game. Uncharted has amazing animation, lighting, and shadows. Halo 3 has pretty decent lighting and shadowing, but the animation is par.
