Dethroning the Console Graphics King (56k genocide)

I don't care, but the ways reviews said it you'd think it would look clearly better than most games, but only just slightly. Assassins Creed is the best looking console game IMO.

Either way, it will be dethroned sooner than later.

Especially if you think Halo 3 looks better. :| Shiny armor =\= better looking game. Uncharted has amazing animation, lighting, and shadows. Halo 3 has pretty decent lighting and shadowing, but the animation is par.

I think that Resistance is on par with Uncharted in some areas yes. It's not nearly as focused on Details like trees and stuff, and Uncharted IS reeealy smooth when it comes to the motions, but I just like the chimera in the tunnels :P Also for everyone saying "Don't compare Halo to Uncharted" that's the exact fanboyish talk I'm trying to disprove, because I AM comparing it, and in the MULTIPLAYER screens, I think they look better. Feel free to post some Uncharted pics guys, this is discussion, can you deal with that?

What does Resistance: Fall of Man have to do with anything? None of the games on your list actually dethrone Uncharted as all of them were released before it and overall look worse than Uncharted.

I'm showing that games like resistance have their own great art ****and graphics that have range and good looks outside of a jungle. I'm showing that there's other games that look awesome without looking like they have plants coming at you in 3-desqu fashion to hit you from your TV. Resistance is just another game I think looks great and gives reason to not Hype Uncharted like it is the second coming

Well, I think you need to go back and play through both games before making the decision that Resistance is on par with Uncharted.

Uncharted just rips off gears movement and puts it in blue jeans :P I will agree with that to a certain extent, because sometime gears of Wallsucking is pretty crazy. But also, play the level with the Corpser (huge ass spider thing) or the level with the wraiths on the train... THAT LOOKS LIKE GRAPHICS KING

i think it's all a matter of personal preference i think gears is the graphics king but thats cos i like the artistic design of the weapons and body armour , it's the same with quake wars the graphics are not top notch but i like the way the weapons and the vehicles look artistically, if you prefer sci-fi (like me) you are going to be biased towards gears, but if you like tomb raider or indiana jones your going to be biased towards uncharted they are all great games to the people that enjoy them and think they are great, basically if you don't like a particular artistic style your not going to like the graphics.delta3074

When you have a game doing this in real time with 4 player co-op using huge level design, land & air vehicles with players on & off line actually utilizing these land/air vehicles with offensive capabilities.

There just isn't much left to be said ! :D

And those are some of the worst graphics I've ever seen from halo! It's really just a beautiful game. (look at original post, all Halo Screens are Multiplayer or Co-Op)
