I love Naughty Dog, but Intelligent Systems is better.

I think it depends.

I personally think Nintendo's Intelligent Systems, But Sony's Naughty Dog is an awesome Developer.

IS seems to make great games, but doesn't push the boundries technologically, whereas Naughty Dog is doing just that, but trying to bring old school fun gameplay with that tech.

So, I think it depends on what the gamer wants. IS isn't going to change their style anytime soon. and the Techies may never like their games today, but in yesteryear, they did. Many Years ago, IS was up to speed with the latest tech.

In fact, one of the reasons IS can pop out games, is because they make a LOT of handheld games, which is easier.

Console Gamers aren't going to suddenly become Handheld gamers, so many good handheld games from IS today, are going to be overlooked, but then again, they are handheld games. I like my handhelds, but they only get used when I travel (NY, Texas, Cali, Vegas, etc.)

Also, SUPER METRIOD wasn't just IS at all, but on that list, it stands proud. It's probably the best on that list, but it wasn't just IS.

I love Naughty Dog, but Intelligent Systems is better.

I've enjoyed ND's games much more...and i think Super Metroid was only programmed by IS, not designed.

I preferred ND's lineup to be honest. Oh how I miss Crash Bandicoot :(

I remember my buddy playing Super Smash Bros Melee on GC, when I was playing SSBM too, I was also playing Tekken Tag, Tekken 4, Tekken 5, DOA 2-3, Soul Calibur 3, Street Fighter EX 3, Street Fighter 3, King of Fighters, Marvel Vs. So yeah, I guess I can see a hardcore Nintendo fan playing one game for 4 years over a ton of other games, but then again, my buddy was extremely poor, and couldn't afford a PS2 as well.

First of all, NAUGHTY DOG is SONY now, they are completely owned by SONY.

Secondly, they made the Jak and Daxter games, like Jak II, Jak III, Jak X, and recently they made one of the best looking console games UNCHARTED, and Upcoming technological marvel UNCHARTED 2.

IN terms of importance in the last 10 years. Naughty Dog by a significant mile. But Intelligent Systems was making games forever, and also on handhelds which is why they have more games. I would say super paper mario was the worst game intelligent systems made though. Such a pos.

You and my buddy would get along just fine then, Nintendo can't make a bad game to him, and he owns every single Nintendo 1st party game on GC, DS,GBA, and Wii.

Yes, he loves Nintendog's, but I haven't actually seen him play it all that much, but in conversations, he plays it daily. So, yeah, you aren't alone man.

I myself have an ARCADE strong backround, mixed with Nintendo and PC, so I loved the best of every genre.

I should make a official Developer Face-Off Round 2, this is kinda screwed up and one-sided... :P

I mean, Developer Face-Off Round 1 used Insominac and Naughty Dog because they are comparing companies, I.E. they develop exclusiving for the PS3. A much more fare comparsion would be Naughty Dog versus Gorilla or Sucker Punch. Or Intelligent Systems versus Retro or EAD.

I like Naughty Dog but I think Intellegent Systemsis better. Naughty Dog has this tendency (like Insomniac) today reproduce the same game constantly. The games are fun but, granted they get stale after a while.

I'm going to be completely honest here and say the story came off as more of an attack at being a Nintendo fan. The story had more of an undertone about Nintendo fans being "die hard" as you put it when in true fact, there is really no way to know. Granted I am way more uptight in SW since you can never really tell someone's tone unless they exagerate it. Also, your friends sounds nice :P

As far as Hardcore, I wasn't sure if he was like my buddy or what, that's why I asked. I have buddies on extreme sides, too, like a Hardcore Xbox guy, a PC guy, a Nintendo guy, a Sony guy, and a bunch of Manticores. It's like SW at Denny's sometimes, and I feel bad for the waitress. :)
