This should be more than enough to keep me playing PC games for a few years.

Current consoles are just equipped to be more elaborate multimedia players, so the excess software although pre-loaded and available to use on each console. does not demand near the amount of resources from the hardware as all the various O.S., office, photo, movie, browser, and utility tools pre-loaded into a computer.

If i had my way today's consoles would not be equipped with any of that multimedia junk that they have, i would just want the software necessary to run the games and that's it. If i were to build a gaming PC it would only have on it the necessary software needed to run video games, but as i said that already translates into today's existing consoles, therefore i don't need to purchase a computer and spend nearly twice or 3 times the amount of a PS4 when i already bought a PS4.

So if someone does only use there PC to play games then chances are they built or had it built primarily to do just that, and although a lot more costly than a console then that's fine..whatever,,, i do the same thing on my consoles and i prefer the console experience and controls over the more costly PC.

Not sure how's that possible when the PS4 has the same architecture as the PC...

All of the above is true, however this was also over a year ago, did you mention that? because since that time i've sold that PC listed above, and the main reason was, i could not adjust from lounging back in my recliner in front of my TV, to being uncomfortable in front of my 25 inch smaller monitor to play games, and no i didn't want to spend yet even more money and get the necessary hookups for the TV. The computer had already cost me enough, not to mention that computer, with all it's high end specs is the one i had all those bad experiences with that i've listed here,,,long load times, system and game updates, error messages, erratic game closures, windows updates, logins, reboots, the whole experience was a nightmare. I was able to go back to console gaming, but i wish i was able to get back my MAC, i also prefer those to PC's as well, and now i'm down to using a crappy second hand Dell that a friend of mine gave me, and i still had to put a new power supply in it and upgrade the ram to even get it to work properly....that's why i'll always hate PC's and as soon as i can i'll be going back to a MAC and gaming on my PS4.Slimmin360

All I got from that was you really don't know how to use a PC because if you did you wouldn't have had all those problems. Most current gen games run decently enough without all of those issues and updates run pretty much automatically. You can even schedule Windows updates to run when you aren't using your PC.

AND

A video cable that connects to your TV is only a few bucks. Also your console controllers will work on your PC.

You are right, you should stick to consoles. Apparently basic level PC competency is beyond your reach..

An $8 HDMI cable was too much?  And maybe a DVI to HDMI converter (though I think that GT430 had HDMI).  If your TV doesn't take HDMI input you won't be seeing NG visuals with or without a PC.
