Read to what i was replying and you will get it.

Watch it! Cows think that 180p difference is bigger than Atari 2600 games vs PS3... they may attack you!

Pathetic specially since it is not a 180p difference, lets forget that 1080p is compose of vertical lines as well as horizontal.

1920x1080 which is more than 2 million pixels.

1600x900 is not just a 180p difference we are talking about more than 600,000 pixels difference, just so you can gap is you take 633,600 pixels from a 720p resolution you end with lower than SD definition which is 720x480.

So go elsewhere to pretend that there is no difference between 900p and 1080p,specially you who called PS3 multiplatforms shody because of their lower resolution vs the xbox 360 and lower frames.

See what I mean, @prawephet ? Take this super cow fanboy @tormentos, for instance. Biggest fanboy douchebag you will ever meet. He thinks the difference is massive. Huge. It hurts his eyes to look at 900p (Unless the PS4 version is 900p).

Oh, and fanboy? I said that in the context of other cows like you saying the PS3 was sooooo much more powerful than the 360. Context is a bitch, huh?

No actually you are bigger than me,at least i don't downplay that difference and pretend to be blind.

Fact is you are a hypocrite who call game shoddy on PS3 because of their resolution but want to pretend this gen there is no difference between 720p and 1080p and 900p and 1080p,and now there was no context you were openly downplaying the PS3 with a list of things much like any fanboy does here.

So go spin what you say elsewhere loser.

@ReadingRainbow4: You're a flat out liar. You never even played the game, and yet you are calling the entirety of the internet liars for their very real complains about all patch versions of the game having major frame rate issues through and through. Even I've had to put up with the horrid frame rates myself. And that's why I can't take your input on the game's frame rate issues seriously. The game is a disaster. Looks gorgeous, but no one wants to play a slideshow.

I have pre-ordered this and can't wait but now having read this thread I am unsure what to do when the game arrives. I originally had intended just to play it but now I'm thinking I should load it up and watch carefully for resolution and anti aliasing, I might have to play on easy in case I miss a patch here or there. Or maybe I will count the frames the whole time to make sure it is always 60fps. I can always take the game back if I think it hit 59 for a couple of seconds at one point.

I swear, people just don't play games anymore they worry about all this fucking shit instead. Unbelievable.

Someone doesn't know the difference between frame rate drops and lag. This is a multiplayer co-op mission and it lagged in the middle. Where's the metrics? How long did it take you to find this poor example?

@Zero_epyon: Wow. You just invalidated anything you say from now on. For you to not even have the basic grasp on the differences between lag and frame rate. This is a enough of my time wasted with someone whose never played the game telling me and the rest of the internet what the frame rate is like. What a farce.

@nyadc: @shrek: I see lag, since the other players seem to be continuing play like normal while the observed player is the one lagging behind. The only way to tell is if the other player reported the exact same stuttering. But in any case, the fact is that the game slowed down under a certain load (multiple people playing a music box while performing other animations in the same location. This was not a consistent lag as normal play resumed after the three stopped messing around.

@shrek: The video is literally less than a minute long. You're going to have to show a longer video where this is consistently the issue. You couldn't do it with articles so you cherry picked a tiny video.

that's online lag. Just read DF's Analysis. Every time the game goes as low as 20fps it's because of online lag.

@shrek: Can you find a video of that length with the frame rate drops you speak of? Because the lowest it drops to here is 28 FPS.

It's the framerate, simple as that, notice how when the client does it as well ON HIS OWN the framerate tanks? That was a client executed action, it's not going to make him lag if he's executing it as the client unless it's the framerate.

You clearly haven't invested very much time in online games...

The lag clearly starts happening when the player to the right opens his music box. Quit making baseless claims about my gaming experience. This is the second time, no need to get butthurt about a conversation.

How about you pay attention to a video you're watching smart guy, the other player stops doing it and runs away while the client continues to do it.

HELLO! You don't have a clue what in the **** you're talking about.

P.S. Baseless claims? Let's see every bit of recorded online gaming records you have.

Anyway, you mind explaining then, how an action that is supposed to make your framerate tank, only seems to do it on one player but not the other two? The second player opens the box a second time at the same time the player we're observing opens hers. Then the game speeds up again after all players stop playing their music boxes. There's obviously a bug that causes this lag when on a co-op. Note the video above, when playing alone, the music box does not cause this issue. If the game really had trouble playing the music box, and somehow that trouble translated to framerate drops, then why doesn't it do it at near the end of the video?

I analyzed the video I uploaded. And it averaged at whopping 5 unique frames per second during the music box moments. And that was last week with the latest patches. That's the greatest sin in gaming there is. The terrible thing too is that these frame dips happen often and at seemingly random times. You can bandage the frame rate to a decent extent by literally avoiding online sessions completely. But definitely be very aware and ready for these spikes when in online mode. It's the main thing that will get you killed, not the beasts.

So your proof of frame drops is exploiting a bug with 3 other players on a co-op game?

I don't have to explain this because this is not the example that was presented, the fact of the matter is in the other video the client was getting severe framerate drops even when he was executing the action. You cannot lag yourself as your system itself is hosting the game content, you're hosting the client world, the only people that can appear to lag in an instance like this are the third parties.

This is very simple, it was a framerate collapse, now I don't know why it was happening or what in that executed line of code was causing it, but it was the framerate.

Your complete lack of networking, server/client hosting and internet functionality knowledge seems to speak to you not knowing what you're talking about. I don't need to prove you have a shallow online background, you're doing that yourself.

@nyadc: So no, no evidence of me not having mp experience? That's what I thought. And no comment on the rubber banding? No comment on the music box being played without frame drops on a single player game? No word on @Chutebox's experience with the game needing the music box to beat a boss with other players without such frame drop? Very disappointing.

So instead of having a dozen different Halo 5 topics, feel free to post in the Halo 5 sticky.
