ugh, and certain cows were adamant the screens of TLOU with no aliasing whatsoever were plausible on current console hardware. But yeah the ridiculous praising of dynamic AI and multiple paths through levels (omg!) in this game is already getting tiresome. But then Naughty Dog does seem good at attracting the hyperbole reactions.

Tell me,where did I say anything about TLoU being inferior to Halo 4 visually?I don't care about graphics in either of those games,I play on the PC,and compared to most modern PC titles,this looks bad to mediocre...

I'm just saying that it feels like most cows don't care about AI,or gameplay here,they just care about technical graphics,since they can use them as an "ownage" against lems and 360 titles...And your posts so far help to prove my point,like the one above...Rocker6

Funny because this game has something i have not seen in PC games,is call attention to realism... It was explain in several articles about this game,is how ND is making the characters fell like real,from how they run and how they have to touch a wall to not fall and stuff like that,that is something i saw also on Uncharted 3 sand stage the physics how the sand reacted to drake steps,how the water get him wet. From what i have read and see in videos this game is not your normal shot and run game,is going after a more realistic feel,something you just don't get by injecting millions of polygons.

They look terrible and games like Gears 3 and Halo 4 have 100x bigger levels and more open world by miles and look generations better

PS3 GPU and seprate RAM is a disaster as it seems, 360 seems like outputting double ot triple the graphics power right now

It's obvious that naughty dog are aiming for a game with bigger scale,Graphical sacrifices usually have to be made with scale, like i said, for what they are aiming for the graphics look pretty good, they look good to me anyway, Not as good as gears 3 at the moment but there is plenty of time to add post processing effects and as far as gameplay goes with the multiple routes and impressive AI this looks far more interesting to me than gears, i may have to hijack the wifes Ps3 when this comes out.

If it's not open-world and mutliple routes what real reason can you give for the game looking that bad? Watch ND claim it's a new artstyle.

No the PS3 can't do trees,vines and grass...lol I guess the Cell was to busy with particles,physics,and AA to run them as well.

You make it sound as if character interaction is a new invention by naughty dog. I mean hell, TacOps (a mod for unreal) had hostiages that were terrified of the terrorist. But, if a gun lay on the ground near them, they wouldn't shy away from picking it up and shooting at the terrorists (or in some cases the rescuers if the hostage took one to many 'freindly fire' rounds :lol: )

There is a lot of PR talk about TLoU's AI and dynamics,that's for sure,but there still is some nice interaction among protagonists,from what we've seen on E3...

I just wonder if it'll manage to work properly,and stay natural and consistent during the entire game experience...

Without a doubt that E3 video looked fluid and great, DF pretty much redid the video again in the link. So that gets me thinking and what your wondering about is exactly what I'm worried about.

They don't look bad though, They look pretty good actually, don't know what pictures you are looking at,lol

Lol, no, it was the last console I got this gen, I have a 360 and Wii way in advance and I didn't even get a high end rig until this year.

and 95% of them are games that came out around 2006 and 2007 anyway but we are in 2012 when PS3 reigns as king of console graphics.

Uncharted 3 had one of the most impressive background streaming systems we've seen in a console title - a piece of tech that pushed the console so hard that the developer actually ran into problems with compatibility on earlier machines, only resolved in the final days before the game shipped. Na it was from their that i took the ones i post. MS has more games under 720p than sony,3rd party are meaningless they did not took advantage of the xbox and it was far easier than the PS2 and PS3.

Pretty much. Is just that people around here are so used to bullshots that when they see direct-feed screens they think no game actually looks like that. But the best part is:

So basically LOU has some the most advanced AA and lighting on consoles. And I bet this game will take all the graphic awards of 2013 just like Uncharted 3 did last year.
