Does anyone still believe that Uncharted 2 looks better than Gears 3?

GeoW 3 is still sickeningly brown.

It looks decent despite that though, it's probably technically better than UC2 but UC2 is nicer to look at. Then again, SuperStardust HD is nice to look at, so take your pick peeps :P

In Act 3 you will be introduced to the colors pink, turqoise, yellow, blue, red, brown, orange...etc

Playing Gears of War 3 online is proof enough that it demolishes any PS3 game, graphically and game play.

And God of War 3 is not even close to being the best looking PS3 game. It's entirely overrated in terms of graphics. The textures are average, much of the lighting is baked, and the camera is fixed--you are basically playing on a wide ledge most of the game. Not even close to the best looking game on consoles. Killzone 3, Gears 3 and Uncharted 2 are all much more advanced in terms of what they are actually processing.

Killzone 3, Gears 3 and Uncharted 2 are all much more advanced in terms of what they are actually processing.

Gears 3 and Killzone 3 both have superior texturing to God of War 3. It's called paralax occlusion mapping. I don't remember GOW3 using HDR... Because even if it did... It's not needed, since the game isn't trying to look like a photo. lol God of War 3 is alsomajoraly a forward renderer like Gears 3.

I disagree, Gears of war 3 is a lot more consistant with its visual fedelity. Uncharted 2 simply looks astonding in its campaign due to a large amount of scripted and linear instances. Though, I wouldn't consider it a flaw if it retained such graphics in MP.

GOW3 beasts both ... and I expect the next game from SM to be the only game that could surpass GOW3.

First of all... Youtube compression is not a good indicator. Second I own God of War 3. Check out the texture detail on Mercy in Gears 3 campaign and then compare it to Cronos' and Gai'sentire face and body. You're really selling the texture detail of Gears 3 short.
