Does Metroid Prime still have the best atmosphere for a game 7 year later?

Its up there but other games have come out that have great atmospheres also: Half life 2, Bioshock, Fallout 3, Uncharted

Believe me, STALKER is on a whole other atmosphere (and that's just the campfires ;) ) level. The Bloodshucker is just terrifying. I think THIS sums up the games atmostphere best.

I love Half-Life 2 (not to mention both episodes), but I'd still drop them a notch lower than Prime in terms of Atmosphere.

I did give HL2, Prime, and DOOM II (PC version) perfect scores, only games I've given that score.
