After sinking probably 2000 hours into LoL, which often took priority over other things, I'm not about to get into another MOBA :P

Any other multiplayer games I can pick up and play for any amount of time, but it always seemed like League of Legends would turn into an 8 hour ordeal every night :P

I'm glad I no longer play.

Using circumstancial evidence, we can conclude that, because value is important to Gamespot as written in the guide, that a game released as a F2P game would be subject to differing standards than a retail game.

The notion that you have put forward, "all games that are reviewed count", is inaccurate as we have seen from the exclusion of DLC and recently reversed XBL/PSN games....which are both reviewed on Gamespot. 

My burden of proof is as follows: we cannot conclude that these games are equivalent because the review scale includes value into the decision of rating a game. 

You seem to have gotten caught up in one statement and ignored everything else.

At the end of the day, you have  failed  to prove that these games do not count. Like I said, ask a mod... Or admin, if you'd like.

if you dont like it dont play it? try rift thats free as well :) no one is forcing you, i tried lol and didnt get on with it but i really like dota 2, the only negative thing is some of the community which i heard the devs improved :)

eg be a douche and the game puts you up with other douches :)

steam says i played it for 15 hours about 3 of them were single player matches, to get used to it and i never got shouted at once by the evil community i just seen other guys get chewed out :)

if you're playing the metagame, it absolutely counts. if not, it's whatever you want since there's anarchy. this is what the forum community decided and nobody would know this better than me.

i dont want to play against online players right away since im new to the genre and i heard it has a steep learning curve so does anybody know if you can play against bots? Also i heard that people paid for the game, but i got it from steam for free.

You can play against bots both alone and with strangers. Before the game launched (not sure if you can still do it) there was a package available where you'd pay money (think $20 or something) and you'd get invited to the Dota 2 Beta and get some bonus items. It was kind of a rip off since getting an invite into the dota 2 beta was really easy and the bonus items are worthless.

Is there something wrong with me if I liked the Original DotA (Warcraft III mod) over DotA 2?
