Sony: Fooling you with graphics, so you don't mind the poor gameplay.

Also doesn't look much better and given the trainwreck development has been this game doesn't have high hopes.

Looks good. Lost of little details everywhere. Hopefully the gameplay will match up.

Two of the links do not work, and the video from the PS site is pretty bad looking due to the compression.

For some reason, the first link won't let me play the video. And the other 2 links are dead.

edit: Ah, there we go. It looks crazy good. Very nice looking environments.

I'm not gonna get too hyped for this. It will likely flop but I'll keep my eye on it.

I work at a retail store. Forza 5 was one of the games demo'ed so I've seen it in action. Only the cars look good. The scenery is as bland as it comes. DC impresses both in cars and in scenery. If that was the trade for 30fps less, then it was a welcome'd trade if you ask me.

The graphics are jaggielicious. 30 fps are rock solid though lol. Good thing the environments are nice at least, first person view should be alright.

Does this have photomode?

Damn lumberjacks should bring their wood to the party? Aliasing is horrible. Here's to hoping for a better AA technique before release. The game does look great graphically. Here's to hoping for something under the hood.

I still have very little faith in this title. With the possibility of Forza Horizon 2 rumored to be releasing at the same time, I know where my money is going. At least for now.

What does it matter? like the last dozen racer games where you all jerk off over graphics... they see, to be having less and less content... less variety... and worse gameplay.

IS this honestly what SW cares about most? everything hyped by cows is mainly focused on graphics.... lemmings not much better.

No doubt Forza 5 is the superior game overall, but this game looks better. Waiting to see Forza Horizon 2 :)

The driving mechanics look like complete arcade shit. This has gone from a must buy to a laughing stock for me. I'm just a little disappointed.

@sts106mat: Dude, give it up. DriveClub textures and environments are FAR superior. Get used to it as PS4 is technically the superior machine over X1. Don't you have a Halo 5 thread to go into?

Car doesn't look like it's on the road since there's no particles or effects to show it, and that entire background to the left looks like a paper cutout.

Yup that framerate sucks ass for a racer, it's completely noticeable in the video aswell.

The graphics sure are purdy though... should keep the cows occupied for a while, you know, watching the game.

@TwistedShade: I doubt you want to compare backgrounds to Forza 5. DriveClub environments rape Forza 5.

now that u bring it up it really does need dust particles, u would think the studio that made motorstorm would be the experts of doing it

I am supremely disappointed that they decided on 30fps for the racer. The game does look beautiful but that 30fps is going to feel sluggish compared to other racers.

Their priorities are misplaced. The game can probably do more than 30fps but can't keep 60 stable so they just capped it.

I love the environments, especially the water sprinklers to the left. But the driving looks wack..In and out of the car. There is still time to add the little things.
