Dual sense has be getting a lot of praise. Makes me very curious to try it out for sure. No feature on Series X is intriguing in the same way.

As a matter of fact, he said it felt like choosing between performance and immersion, as he felt like he played worse with those features enabled.

Lol, looks like you are ruffling PC gamers' feathers. I played Cold War with the DS and it's great. Love how the triggers emulate the feel of recoil. Actually adds a new dimension to the game.

In all honesty, when it comes to feedback options I can take it or leave it, but I do appreciate it when it's done well. I'm not writing this off at all, looking forward to trying it out some time. I don't doubt the improvement here, or that it can add to the experience.

But I mean, the typical industry hyperbole on display here is lulz. Cool feature? Probably. Revolutionary? Big doubt.

For FPS games it's mkb > gyro > sticks, at least from a practical standpoint. If immersion is your priority, then sure, this controller probably gets extra points there. But even then, would say VR is far more revolutionary for the genre in that sense.

@SolidGame_basic: Performance is worse though. It’s the textbook definition of a gimmick. Sacrifices responsiveness for feeling. That’s cinematic mode for controllers.

To each their own. I like keyboard and mouse when it comes to tactical FPS like Rainbow Six Siege. But for mindless shooters like Call of Duty, this is great. Some people have a natural bias for what they like, I get that.

@darthbuzzard: I shot guns and was in army , for all I know that guy can be just shilling, it's technically impossible to emulate a real gun on controller , the recoil and the feeling of a gun feels in your entire body not just your hands.

There's a difference between 100% emulating that exact feeling and giving the perception of that feeling. The brain is easily tricked.

@darthbuzzard: Airsoft player think exactly the same when they use their air guns , just because their guns are exactly replica of the real thing same weight etc... But when you give them to try the real thing is totally different.. I am not downplaying the PS5 controller just stating a fact.

@tormentos: Performance wise ? DMC 5 has 3 modes out of 4 that XSX outperformed the PS5 , apparently COD Cold War also runs better on XSX... And Valhalla as we speak is being fixed , the ubisoft team was notified on their forum..

I'll let you know what its like when I try mine out and maybe when you start playing games instead of forums you might get one.

IT has 3 modes.

1 is almost identical with the series X winning by 2 or 3 frames you simply will not be able to tell the difference.

The second is won by the series X by a bigger margin but not huge.

The 3rd the PS5 is up to 68% faster.

Yes it runs just a tad better not even CLOSE to the 40% you people had advertise here.

And AC drops less and has more constant frames on PS5.

So until now i am still trying to find the 40% gap or HUGE gap many lemmings advertise here all i have see until now is EXCUSES.

That's quite the leap my friend, GS didn't even take it that far.

Fair enough though. If an incremental improvement on a standard controller that you haven't even tried strikes you as the best thing to happen to gaming in a long time, that's your prerogative.

Just curious tho. If they had the same glowing praise for any other companies controller, would you feel the same? A simple yes or no will do.

@tormentos believes the secret sauce is powerful in the PS5 and games will be 68% better and DF are totally wrong in the their belief there is something odd going on.

Of course he knows best, so I look forward to seeing that in more games as we see comparisons.

@tormentos: DMC 5 has 4 modes which 3 of them XSX came on top , doesn't matter if it was by much or little , it still outperformed the PS5.. the PS5 just did well on the performance mode, so what's higher 3 or 1?

Valhalla could get any time soon a patch and probably do equal or outperform the PS5, and so far that's the only game that is doing better on PS5 for now.

Yes and the BIGGEST by far gap is this.

In fact is the biggest gap of any next gen up to this point.

So basically your excuse is the game will get patch some how just for series X?
