Not that I like to see poor games released upon anyone, however, because of my dismay with EA's DRM (or any activation based DRM), it's nice to see there's a chance of dilemma-free pure unadulterated skippage (i.e. no contemplation of buying used, or waiting on "bargain-bin" prices, etc) on this one ;)

I hear that Lemmings are putting down R2, that is why it should get a bad score.

I never cared for edge scores. Since they usually suck. After seeing a 6 for resistance their scores are even more laughable. I would have accepted an 8 the lowest. Even the fallout score is ridiculous.

I know why banjo scored so low, that game has no chance to be a great game.

Left 4 dead is awesome. Interested to hear what they didn't like about valkyria though

So they gave the first Gears an 8 but the sequel which is basically an expansion pack gets a 9?RuinedMachine

EDGE is harsh but they are mostly very fair. Reading their, usually well written, reviews gives a lot if insight into the scores. Also they use the full scale from 1-10 instead of the more popular 5-10. This means that a 6 from EDGE is still an very good game and shouldn't be compared to a 6 from gamespot.

Having said, posting these scores is useless and will only cause fanboy tears. I'm very interested in some blurbs of the reviews. Can anyone post them?

I don't agree with some of that. This is why demos are important, it's hard to take reviews seriously. I think they gave fable 2 (9) and fallout 3 (7). I don't know how they thought fable is better.Glitch321

Edge has been very "attention grabbish" lately, their reviews are more wildly inconsistent than ever.

To be honest I've never really read any EDGE review .. only seen scores, so it looks harsh when I see them.

Though if I ever find the magazine I'll read their reviews to see how they compare to North Amercian reviews.
