EGM: Killzone 2 Looks and Plays so beautifully already, no delay is needed!!

I dont have a link because this is from the EGM cover story issue that just hit shelves last week but basically they had nothing but good things to say about the game about how the explosion and particle effects are so realistic its scary, its very engaging and accesible, It always feels like you are in a epic battlefield of huge proportions and last but not least they also said that the game looks and plays so beautifully that they are very suprised it was delayed!!

The Dev then goes on to admitting that when they first started out that there where very low budget and had a very small team, this time around they have tons of money and support from great sony devs such as Insomniac and even the same Devs that brought us God Of War are helping them out.. They also said they are addressing ALL concerns from the first game and complaints people had about not being able to jump, clunky controls and very bad A.I and saying all that will not only be "fixed" this time around but vastly improved!!! I really have high hopes for this game now!! If EGM out of all people are saying this game already plays so beautifully that no delay is needed, thats really saying a lot!!!

No. They are releasing Socom in September and Resistance 2 in November. It would be stupid to release 3 shooters within 3 months of each other.

yep exactly! The DEV even says in the interview that the game is pretty much done but for marketing reasons they are waiting until Feb. The dev also said they will be polishing the hell out of the game until FEB! WOW just imagine 8 months of just polishing!

2 of those are third party games. All 3 that I mentioned are Sony exclusives. They do not want to hurt themselves by releasing to many shooters at once.

When i first played it i didn't really like it TBH. After playing other games which used a cover system, I went back to Gears of War and realized how amazing it is. Gameplay is everything to me, and Gears has some of the most fluid gameplay ever.

Guys, back off Bungie93. While i dont agree with his "KZ2 will flop" comments, there is nothing wrong with him thinking GeOW is one of the best games of all time. It has garnered high ratings, great critical reception, and is a great game to boot. Yes, i know the throne of best game is a very subjective one, but his opinion isnt stupid or bad. Its not like he said Big Rigs is the best game ever...then it would've been ok to flame him. So just back offa him, and find another topic to argue with him about :PII_Seraphim_II
