Epic Games confirms UE4 on ps4 is mostly the same as PC verison.

I'm not sure what to think of ue4 yet, the only actual gameplay I've seen of it looked absolutely terrible with that Slender Esque game.

Yep. 8000 series, after 2 years of development, will be a total a rebag of 7000 serie because, you know, ATI hates money. It´s like they don´t need to compete with NVIDIA anymore.

The PS4 has Unified CU there is no reserve CU for physics,all CU can run graphics as well as compute jobs..

On the PC, Intel (i.e. "Instant Access") and AMD (i.e. HSA) are heading towards low latency DX bypass extensions.

Hiroshige Goto (tech writer) didn't factor in AMD's whitepaper or GCN's ISA docs on GCN's concurrent features.

this smells of damage control.  The fact is the demo running on PC last year was better than the demo running on a non final PS4 dev kit this year. Will it get better?  Yes.  But will it be better than what we so on PC?  No.  There really isn't anything else to discuss.  

It's "mostly the same" just like developers would say their multiplats are "mostly the same" on the PS3/360 as on the PC. That is, the games generally get the same basic look on consoles, but are significantly better on PC.

The combine usage of the CU's for non graphical workloads still lowers the gpu's maximum processing performance.

I hope to see some pre alpha footage of Heavy Gear Assault since they brag about it being a high end game and a "nexy generation" mech game we have MechWarrior Online and Hawken which pretty advanced already, Hawken seems to be adding more and more they recently got destructible maps and the destruction is pretty dynamic

I think people are forgetting something.

This gen,virtually NO dev was utilising PC's extra power before 2011.Even after that,only 2-3 devs like dice and crytek were doing it.

Yeah,PC is far more powerful,but the extra power is kind of useless since devs won't design games with pc in mind.

All the customer reviews  i read about website ordered it from said they sucked lol but i had to order something to see if they really sucked.
