Really? Even I someone who doesint care for banjo think it looks like an 8 game and socom will get somewhere score of 7-8.

No it isnt. :| Hype threads are pretty new. There are plenty of people who ignore them, or take them as gospel as you do. "Hype" is not a vote in a thread; that's just a prediction. HYPE is saying a game will be awesome, telling everyone why, telling people to buy a wii/360/ps3 for this game because it'll rock your face off.

Hype threads are where people take a wild guess.

Very true. The sad part is its never going to happen. Lems and Cows will be at eachothers throught for all eternity. Even after the members hear go away there will still be lems and cows at each others neck.

Its the way System Wars works... If LittleBigPlanet had gotten an 8.5 and Fable 2 got a 9 lemmings would be talking all the Smack to cows...

the last AA RPG i played on the 360 was mass effect and that was one of the worst games I played in the past few years, that doesn't bode well for Fable considering that the original was so lightMarloStanfield

Scores havent really stopped gamespot choosing a different GOTY in the past. Halo 2 outscored Half Life 2, but didnt get GOTY or shooter of the year.

Socom is supposed to be really bad and Banjo got a lot less love than LBP and people complained about the boring gameplay and making the cars

The 360 is behind on AAAE games? Last I check the PS3 has one AAAE game and one AAAAE game, while the 360 has 4 AAAE games. Also I really don't think Valkria will get a 9, SRPGs don't really review well.

We go by gamespot scores here so yea it did fail in terms of hype but will still be a great game I guess.

True. WOW (9.5) got GOTY when it was outscored by RE4 (9.6). And Windwaker (9.3) got GOTY when other games scored higher that year.

well as a ps3 fan i want to say LOL flop
as a gaming fan i want to say the score is lower then i expected considering the other reviews even though ign did give it an 8.8
however the first fable was AA status, this one looks much better if i owned a 360 id still pick it up,
360 fans probably feel the way i felt when uncharted was given an 8.0 when everywhere else was giving it 9.0 and above ,
and now i will look at the review and see what these shortcomings really are because i only glanced at it before i posted here

yes, but there's a massive difference between a 9.0 and a 10.0. and we have two 10.0 games and will have at least a few 9.5's (Brawl and probably Gears 2...maybe Resistance 2). It's just not going to happen. let that dream go.Dreams-Visions
