update is coming out the same day. I'm sure it would be preloaded to MS servers, who where every they need to be before hand so GS might get it early.

I don't think GS would do that, they're late enough as it is with most reviews except for LBP with which they were very prompt.

I'm tired of buying the game then coming back to find the review a few days later. I think GS's review will be out after the embargo is done.

Fable gets the honour of being purchased by FrozenLiquid, who hardly purchases video games anymore.

1. There is no such thing as "official hype" anymore. Stickied hype threads have not been done for six months, and won't be done again. Seriously, there would be two dozen stickies right now if they did that, given all the games coming out.

2. While you put a lot of time into this I'm sure, it's probably best just to leave "hyping" Fable 2 up to Peter Molyneux. I don't care if the game gets an 11.0, the expectations that man has created are just insane. There's no way he can ever live up to this "perfect, best game ever" he always acts like he's creating.

If Mass Effect didn't get AAA for a few technical mishaps.. there is no way Fable 2 should either.

Yeah...me too. I think people would not follow thru on their bets. If you ever looked at their hall of shame. I thought it added a bit of fun.

In the fable 2 forum there's someone who gave his impressions ( lengthy ) of the game and they are not so positive at all :(

On the other side, it has a huge replay value so that's gonna be a big plus

Well they shouldn't. Reviews are for whats comes right out of the box and not what may come. Mostly because not all consumers will be bothered to download a patch (stupid but it happens).

Anyways my hype is 9.0, mostly because it's missing a BIG feature.

Though if they do take the patch into consideration , i think it will probably get higher.

Yeah, GS has been pretty iffy lately. Someone will be owned in the upcoming days.
