both sides do this..only funny thing about it is while cows are calling 360 games that get AA's flops they are also trashing most of the ps3's titles.

in the end im still picking this game up.

It's a flopped sequel to a flop for a system that looks as if it's on the way out. Banjo is practically guaranteed to get less than a 9

that leaves gears.

Fearing that all she has vested into raising you would deminish once you fire up a game like Eternal Darkness. Looking for something take the blame for her failed parenting :shock:

If Cows and Lemmings continue to say "no one trusts GameSpot reviews", why do we care so much if a game flops or meets expectations? Why do we continue to anxiously await GS reviews? Just questions...

We ALL care about GS reviews in one way or another. They are pretty creidble in the end and we are on the forums that only count their reviews.

Ninja Gaiden was a dissapointment, so was fable 2. Tales of vesperia will probably end up on PS3 and Viva Pinata 2 is just a rehash (you can play the first one on DS and PC)

when they give a game an 8.5 it falls under the category of "great". why don't you believe them?

I do believe them. I'm not saying the score is wrong - i havent even played the game - i was just agreeing with TPOJ that sometimes the text of a review doesnt seem to match up to the score given. :)

it never does really, your opinion is always the most important one. A good review should be able to effectively communicate the reviewers opinion even if you dont agree with them

Ninja Gaiden and Fable have both scored AA if you're going by gamespot rules, and AA-AAAA if you look at a wide range of reviews. Two great games is hardly anything to complain about. Viva Pinata is AA as well, like it or not.

Not that it matters, i'll be spending all of my money on PC games this year anyway. :P

Omg, I can't believe the stupidity that goes on when this happens. One bunch of idiots laughs over the "flop" claiming it's a bad game, retro-hyping it to AAAA, and the other bunch goes into over-defense, retro-hyping the other games to say they flopped too.

Nope just simple logic. Not hard to gage hype for something when 15 million posts get locked and a sticky had to be made. Fabe 2 didn't even reach that point.

Flopped by SW standards, but I'm buying it regardless.

84 titles which have scored above 69.999% compared to the PS3s 62, the PCs 66, and the Wii's 44. Anyway you slice it, the Xbox 360 is still releasing more quality titles than the other systems.

Well by simple logic if your not talking about gamespot LBP review was AAA 9.0 hypethread 9.0 not 10.0. If your talking about across the board 9.5 to 10.0 which was its hype including all sites. THe average score for it....

Yes, there are questionable reviews, but we get so excited when they do go in our favour and we get so critical when they don't go out way... Everything won't go the way you want it ya know :). But overall GS isn't THAT bad. There are way worst review sites/mags.
