It's the things within those stories that make them original which Halo doesnt have. All you can say about Halo is your fighting the covenant and the brutes there's nothing really mysterious going on it's just a straight up war with no twists what so ever. The one thing Halo truly doesnt have is a twist except for the time you play that alien dude which wasnt that amazing.... There is ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING IN THE STORY THAT IS NEW!!!

So, you admit to having misrepresented Halo's story by distilling it to it's lowest base? It's a failure of an argument.

And you obviously haven't played halo, so I'll simply leave you with this: You're wrong, and you don't know what you're talking about.

I'm guessing the humor, interactions, twists (which do exist, only a moron or someone who hasn't played them can't see them), religious and philosophical undertones, prodigious amounts of backstory, and displays of morale don't count for you.

And I'm not even taking into account gameplay.

Cobrax75: Good examples, and I fully agree with you. I'm not gonna argue you, because my dare was basically an attempt to show the uselessness of swade's statements. I'm sorry for not replying to you sooner.

LOST I love that show... It has an amazing story... Fight Club.... There's actually alot. Metal Gear Solid.

swade

LOST: Bunch of guys stranded, must trust and help each other against the dangers that lurk. So generic... so horrible.

Fight Club: Guy with bipolar personality disorder causes a mess. So generic.... so horrible

Metal Gear Solid: This takes the cake. Terrorists attack. It's up to a gruff ex-operative with a past to take them on. So incredibly generic... so incredibly supid and horrible.

NO it's not a straight up war with the brutes and the covenant. For one the elites are actually on your side now and the flood is on the loose and will spread even more. And cortana is with the gravemind and not with the MC anymore. And there is the myterious Ark and so on.....

Actually I have played Halo and Halo 2 I finished the 1st Halo's storyline but not the 2nd one I played it online. I absolutly hate the story but multiplayer is fun the story is awful.

Well duh it happened before and in different stories I never said that Halo was the first game to have the enemy switching sides. You said Halo 3's story was about a straight up war with the brutes. You tried to make Halo's story as simple and bland as possible by leaving out alot of detail. Or you really don't know anything about Halo's story and just trolling. I've just pointed out the stuff you "forgot" to mention. ;)
