KOTOR is king to me and FF is so boring and crappy but that's just my opinion I don't start a thread and claim KOTOR to be king and PS sucks cause of it.

Also I think Mass Effect will be the best RPG this gen IMO when it is released

Actually, part of WoW's success is due to the out-dated graphics. You see, with an emphasis on style rather then polygons, Blizzard was able to expand their potential player base. Even on dated hardware, World of Warcraft still functions fairly well, while looking as eye-pleasing as it is. 

WOW is successful in America due to the fact it also has the largest popoulation of geeks.

Amen. You know Blizzard did something right when you can play WoW on a $400 Emachine (Pre-Gateway) using intergrated vidoe graphics.

the reason it wouldnt fit on a DVD is because of hours of HD CGI. put the 2 "best" FF games (VII and VIII) strected over 3 or four disc each. did that make them worse?

Please, Lineage growing here in America? Lineage One bombed horribly and Lineage Two can barely break the 70k to 80k barrier. Lineage as a series is only popular in South Korea and that mostly due to the PC culture there. There's basically a PC Cafe in every block down there.

MMORPGs are RPGs. Single Player RPGs are RPGs. Still doesn't change the fact that certain single player RPGs are better than certain MMOs, in vice versa.

Unfortunately, JRPGs are simply catering to anime freaks on all sides while failing to advance gameplay. There are some exceptions to the rule but overall there are just too many clones and pretenders.

1. The only game this gen to rival the FF7 masterpiece is Lost Odyssey, not FF13

2. The best looking JRPG's will be on 360, that is a given, it is stronger in GPU and ram and shaders

3. FF12 was the worst in the series, and reminded of that garbage MMORPG of theirs, a total disaster in my eyes, now all i can do is question FF13 quality, especially after reading that summons now tranform into gadgets too !!!!

4. FF13 is CONFIRMED for 360, remember they just CONFIRMED FF13 is going multiplatform and every other Nova Crystallis game too (of course they would, how could they turn their eyes from ... 4 million worldwide sales for FF13 certain 100%)

5. 360 gets so many JRPG's that even if FF13 does not come on 360 and is indeed the best, will be over after 100 hours or so, then i can get back to Blue dragon 1-2, Lost odyssey, Cry On, Infinite Undiscovery, Eternal Sonata, Circle of Doom, and WRPG's like Fable 2, Mass Effect, bioshock etc etc etc

So, all in all, it is a loose-loose situation for PS3
