It's that bad based on the video it was taken from, I think this is a good thing for consolites to get their teeth into. I'd be looking at Crysis low/med at around 720 type graphics... still pretty damn good

And taking screencaps of said low res, low quality video is hardly representative of the actual appearance of the engine.

Crysis maxed looks like crap because I just FRAPS'd a video at 640x480 with maximum compression. You can't deny my logic!

the textures are bad, but maybe it looks better in motion.

Even the IGN logo looks crappy, cryengine 3 is crap am conifrmed.

The graphics will be better under a complete engine of course, everyone knows this. Even judging off of those videos, however "low quality," it's quite easy to tell that it's not on par or even close to the PC version.

EDIT: Now is this confirmation that Crysis will see a consolized version or was it just for testing purposes?

Before any console fanboys come in saying that looks great, it looks like crysis on low with a few settings on medium.

don't worry guys, crysis was never about visuals, its got GREAT core gamesplay mechanics like a super suit :P
