First Immersed Game: Zelda:OT

First game I felt really immersed, it was a pretty sweet experience first time through.

Not the first, but I'm into the story of FFT: The War of the Lions. Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis also had a nice story that I followed.

The original Zelda, Anarchy, and Dragon Warrior all come to mind. I guess you could say immersed because these were the first games where I cared to learn more about the worlds.

Most immersed - Metal Gear Solid

First immersed - No clue, but it definitely wasn't as good as Metal Gear Solid.

Wow, you just made me realize, that after all this time, I've never *truly* been immersed in a games story until Bioshock to be honest. That game just sucked me and and kept me there till I fired the last plasmid. It was wierd, but other than that, other games I have been immersed in: Half Life series, Oblivion, Black and White (1 and 2) and Fable probably. More of course that I cant remember right now.

mine was bioshock for sure... i dont think i ever really cared about the story of a game until i played bioshock.. mostly because almost every story in a game sucks ass.

For me without a doubt the story I've been most immersed in was Knights of the Old Republic. And now its spiritual successor Mass Effect is soon coming out. I seriously hope its at least as good as KOTOR

I've never really played a game just for the story but the one game that made me say, "Damn, that was a great story" has to be Killer7 hands down.

First time I was truly into a game's story was FF7, it's still one of my favs too.

I'd say the best immersion experience was in CoD4 so far. I don't know how to explain, it's not the hatred for the antagonists that sucked me in. I think it was the way the characters would interact with you. Was a fantastic game either way.

Final Fantasy IV. It was practically the first truely great story telling of a JRPG. Not to say that others were bad but this game dealt with a lot of concepts that others did for its time.

hmmm zelda oot like brought me in like made you feel like link and you were in a world, but it didnt really make me care for much in it cept zelda a bit. But HL2 definatly brought you into the story and felt like you were doing it all.

First game I was emersed into the story would probably be Sword of Vermilion for the sega gen.

The most imersed I would have to say FF7, I've yet to be that imersed in a story sence.
