1. Your in a space ship not a cryo pod

2. Your SAMUS ARAN not master chief or "doom guy"

3. You get to walk around the ship instead of follow in linear path like in halo

4. The stories are very differnt (I didnt see mercenaries in halo or doom :? )

so to say that it's a complete mash up of halo and doom is pretty dumb on your part the only thing similar is the attack and thats can be said about every game were there peace and quiet in the beginning.

It got a lot more interesting when the 'corruption-ey' stuff was eating away at the walls. The player was noobified though, just like when GS did that horrible TP live show thing and revealed that their not qualified.

There is nothing wrong with I said about the intro to this game, I'm very surprised so many people are even childish enough to take offense by it. How times have you seen people cry at Halo for not being innovative over stupid things like his shield?

wow, even on a compressed small video you ca allredy see the big upgrade. granted it's not 360 or PS3 quality dretail, but it looks gorgeous!! the beginning is too much like Halo though...

must buy for me. i'm hearing lots of reporters LOVE the controls. can't wait.

No I said its not a big enough improvement over the last two for me to be interested in buying, because they never impressed me much either.

if i only had to wait til the end of August, I would have resisted, but having to wait til October, i decided to watch the video

didn't find it that spoilery thankfully

i'm liking the greater emphasis on the storyline, and the increased cinematics

the scripted events as you progress added to the already great atmosphere that the previous games have always had

hopefully all this stays constant through the whole game, and that we get a lengthy campaign

Dude, there are far more textures, better lighting and everything looks much smoother like Samus's suit which used to be more jagged, now it has smoothed out and does not look so pointy.
