Yeah some PC gamers are such babies. I've only had one problem with GFWL and it was just getting Lost Planet 2 started, never had a problem after that. I'm just happy to get it, console version looks like ass.Grawse

I'm not saying they can't. At the end of the day, there is no reason one cannot complain. GFWL has a pretty terrible track-record, though I have never used it.

I also don't understand why mentioning the console petition is even relevant to this thread, it doesn't need to be a "us vs. them" thing.

I personally haven't had any problems with GFWL, I do however hate how long it takes to sign in and the way saves are handled. I got feeling though that this petition won't do much. And PC gamers will either have to skip out on Dark Souls or suck it up and use GFWL.EliteM0nk3y

Considering how bad GFWL is and the number of issues it tends to cause I won't be buying Dark Souls for PC if it uses it. New bosses or not I'm not even guaranteed it'll work on my PC if it uses GFWL.

At least we don't create petitions to KEEP GAMES EXCLUSIVE, like you cows. So what if they want to play a game on steam? I think it's great they do that. Cows created petitions to keep FFXIII exclusive to PS3, when the franchise was never SONY only. Cows also boycotted Capcom for Making Devil May Cry a multiplat... A MULTIPLAT! Cows were still getting these games in both situations, but it wasn't enough. They wanted to act like spoiled whittle babies and not share. This is why cows are looked down on.

if a petition was made to convince the developers to create a PC version, why can't a petition be made to change their minds on using a very controversial form of DRM? this is all about having the PC version be the best it can be. Yea its GFWL and that's actually only one of two games I own that use it. The other being Fallout 3 and even with that game I haven't had any issues.

Thank god for pc gamers as opposed to the console rabble that will just take sh1t on a silver platter and thank their master through a ball-gag while they are arched on all fours getting ready for DLC and other forms of monetization.

seeing as how darksouls is actively online, using GFWL would be one hell of a joke. It's complete sh1t.

Simple, if this petition doesn't go through, don't buy it. People who really want it will buy it, with or without GFWL. Best way to change something is not to support it, through I think gaining this particular title with more Japanese dev maybe? on its way is more important than GFWL. Though its a double edge sword for some, it seems.

As a PC gamer I could careless about Dark Souls. It's just one of many games we get anyways. I never had interest in it, but its good for people that are interested and have made the right choice to game on PC only.
