I can't wait to play another poor emulation of the racing sport! SARCASM ALERT!

Really, I have zero interest in racing games. They offer no "tangible" story, and no real incentive for me to play them. I guess people like the "adrenaline of racing", but for me that's alien stuff.

It's not a big deal to me (FM3 will have it's own unique features), but these are features that GT will have that Forza doesn't... And if you honestly think Turn 10 aren't competing with Poly or GT then you've been in a cave since 2005 lol. That's a core motivation to their existence, they even say so themselves.

why no night racing ? Nonstop-Madness

Maybe it's like PGR4 and the extra textures couldn't fit on the disc, and they'll have to make it downloadable? >>' Or maybe I'm wrong about that...PGR4 has night mode and different weather for every track, but I don't remember downloading anything to get that, and I doubt it came with the patch because that took seconds to download.

Yeah because racing in the dark isn't cool? :| Need for Speed underground 2 was done totally in the dark and I really liked that game, c'mon a little night won't hurt you turn 10.

Lol, handed them the torch... Thing is, both companies are competing with each other in certain capacities. It's just the methodology that's a bit different between the two I think.

That wouldn't work, they'd have to deal with all the new different light sources, plus new textures, its probably even more complicated than that. Weather must be a real pain to deal with, it not only affects visuals but also game play.

Oh well, that just sealed the deal right there. See Forza failed because they spent too much time worrying about painting cars rather than driving them. As far as I'm concerned this is now GT5's battlefield by a land slide, unless they have something we don't know.

Thats true, i prefer polyphony's to turn 10s. A lot of people don't understand just how hard they work and how much they are actually involved in the auto industry.

Yeah. Forza received slightly higher scores across the board. I wouldn't say it makes FM entirely better than GT4 though. But, I say that's because GT4 was reviewed on the merits/ standard of it's franchise (being that I released before FM). And GT4 didn't add much in terms of new features to the franchise. The game itself is superb though. This outing should be a different story, I'm eager to see what they have up their sleeves.

Thats true, but nascar is a bit tricky in itself. I'm really happy they included it but still worried. 16 cars really isn't nascar, so i really want to play it to see if it still has the nascar feel. the cars look AMAZING though.

That would be impossible since the NASCAR license is an exclusive rights deal I think. One thing that has me intrigued is Kaz's comment: "That's just a small portion of the game".
