Well GT5 is taking so long probably because they are being excessive and putting like every car ever into this game, lol. They are taking longer than 2 fully developed Forza games.

big deal, grid looks better on pc and can be run in 1200p with better AA. Racing games have small environments most of the time so making them run fast isn't that hard.

All the PS3 has to push is pixels for the rez even if it is 5000 by 5000 that seems simple. It's not a game it's a couple of pics.

I do know that forza's environments does look better, but who will truly notice in gameplay?same can be said of car models.....no? i disagree with you for the simple fact that you ARE looking at the environments when you drive, i mean, you have to see where to go......right?? what you DONT pay attention to, is the 200,000 polygons that went into making sure the headlights and tail lights shimmer the correct way. now THATS a waste of resources............resources that could go to liven up the environments. Would you wanna race around a track where the cars were realistic down to the tire treads, but bland environments, or detailed environments, and great looking cars??
