Your title should say "Rumor:" first.
And even if it was, then OMG!!! the world is ending. What will we do? Gran Turismo has been on multiple disks in the past too, IIRC.
Are people going to be changing discs to play online? I don't get it. How can there be a multi-disc racing game?X_CAPCOM_X
It's not that hard to understand. Half the content on one disc and the other half on the other disc. I'm amazed some fanboys are actually so delusional to think or say that they'll have to switch discs in the middle of a race. It's truly gotten to pathetic times on the damage control front.
Lol yeah. That's why the 360 is a failure :lol:GaMeR_Willz
do you need assistance to use the bathroom?
Didn't gran turismo 2 on the first PS come on 2 disk:?RougehunterThis is 2008 dude.
Sorry but a racing game on 2 disc is just failure and if they dont then it's still gonna be failure cuz they wont have enough features then.Good job MS keeping the 360 casual and not allowing mandatory installs.

:|Who the hell said about changing discs in the middle of the race?
if movement is an issue then sure i would complain.
in terms of fitness friendly, the consoles go wii>360>ps3
i prefer physical setbacks to hardware related ones.
and i wouldn't be surprised if they put multiplayer on one disc and sp on the other or something.

Why is 2 discs failure exactly? Gran Turismo 2 did it just fine.

Uh, I didn't say that you would have to change discs in the middle of a race. That makes no sense. Way to put words in my mouth. Also, how would that be damage control? It's not like the news of the game being on two discs is good news. It's not bad news, either.
So would there be "Disc 1" and "Disc 2" lobbies online? Sure, GT 2 was two discs, but it wasn't online. Maybe they can just have single player only tracks and cars.

i think u regret buying a ps3thats why u bash the 360 all the time because u know u made the wrong choice when ur mommy bought u a console
u choose the ps3
now u live with the consequences ..chump..
because the majority of cows are overweight
hence why they are called cows
they dont wanna get up to change disk because they are way too fat

Oh I see I didnt know much about that.So ya as it stands forza 3 has failure written all over it due to the casual nature of the 360.If multi-disc automatic failure,if not multi-disc still a failure due to only as much content as forza 2 and nothing new.
Gran Turismo 2 didn't used 2 discs. It got 1.

Simulation and Arcade mode, if I remember correctly:
Here we go again. PS3 fanboys, what do you do when you have to take out whatever game is in you PS3 to play a different game?
/thread
It's bizarre how people think devs are so incapable they can't split a game between two discs effectively.

OWNED.
However, GT2 was, in a way, two different games.

This is NOT your usual disc change. This is much more annoying.Imagine I wanna play a track and find out it's on the other disc, you are telling me it's not annoying? Then I change the disc and then want to ride a car and found out that it's on the other disc?LOL pathetic.
And no all cars and tracks wont be on one disc otherwise the game may as well be on one disc.
Oh I see I didnt know much about that.
Spybot_9
Thats painfully obvious.
If multi-disc (is) automatic failure
Spybot_9
That's where you're completely wrong

[QUOTE="GaMeR_Willz"]Lol yeah. That's why the 360 is a failure :lol:EltrozIs it really that hard for you to get off the sofa and walk around 5 steps to a console?
I don't know about you, but I do not feel like changing disk for tracks that suppose to be in one disk. There is no track that is worth pausing the game and swiping the disk. That takes the whole atmosphere and ruins the momentum.

You didn't play Grand Turismo 2 did you, one disk for simulation the other for arcade/multiplayer. Stop this instigating, it's really tiring. Is it really that hard for you to get off the sofa and walk around 5 steps to a console?[QUOTE="Eltroz"][QUOTE="GaMeR_Willz"]Lol yeah. Thanks for ignoring all the other posts and submitting that ludicrous assumption.laps one and two will be on disc one and then lap 3 will be on disc two then the final lap will be on disc one again..... (same rules apply for online... and you have to wait untill every other player has changed discs to continue the race)
sadly i really do love the forza series.... i think that they should have poeople install some of those items onto a harddrive or offer it as free DLC ANYTHING but two discs

Good job on missing out on those posts. It's been said, fact. I have enough weight here and enough people know I don't make up BS, so yes, it's been said.
Onto the 2 disc part. It was already said by the PGR team that they had issues with PGR4. Welcome to the world of HD, which fills a lot more disc space.

You have no idea how the data is going to be split up between the discs. There is NO way they are going to make you switch discs back and forth while playing they game. Like EVERY game before, they would find some break that would separate the data, like the second half of career mode, or a different mode all together.
And all of that, is a HUGE "IF" the game is even going to be on 2 discs, which is completely speculation at this point.
