I don't know about you, but I do not feel like changing disk for tracks that suppose to be in one disk. There is no track that is worth pausing the game and swiping the disk. That takes the whole atmosphere and ruins the momentum.

Onto the 2 disc part. It was already said by the PGR team that they had issues with PGR4. Welcome to the world of HD, which fills a lot more disc space.

You have no idea how the data is going to be split up between the discs. There is NO way they are going to make you switch discs back and forth while playing they game. Like EVERY game before, they would find some break that would separate the data, like the second half of career mode, or a different mode all together.

And all of that, is a HUGE "IF" the game is even going to be on 2 discs, which is completely speculation at this point.

Forza isnt that much of a complicated game now dont kid yourself.No. of tracks and cars take most of the space and audio obviously has to be in full on both disks.There is no story mode in forza so it's not hard to assume all this.

And ya they may drop the idea altogether but then there is failure both ways as no 100 tracks and no 400 cars then.

Jrpg where the only gender that were okay for Disk Swapping.

Grand Turismo did a great job on seperating the content. Psone games had many disk swapping. Now its 2008.

Why does everyone honestly think that multiple discs means that halfway through a track, your going to have to change a disc? I understand fanboyism, but do people honestly think that the devs behind forza motorsports 3 are going to do something that ridiculous? Lets look back at some multidisc games. Final Fantasy VII. This JRPG had three discs. About a third of the way through the game, you switch to disc 2, two-thirds of the way, you switch to disc 3, no more switching discs after that. Gran Turismo 2, had two discs. One with the Career mode and another with the arcade mode (if I remember correctly). its all really hipocrisy if you ask me, if instalations and disk management dont bother you then neither should switching disks, its true you may have a preference (for consoles i prefer switching disks, for PCs i prefer instalations) but you won´t seem bothered by that to the point of creating such a weak flamebait as the TC did

EDIT: oh and one more thing, if we count Forza 3 then that´s 3 games in the entire 360´s library that use multiple discs, which is a lot less then the number of PS3 games that require an instalation

one could argue that saying you have to change discs in the middle of a race is just damage control to finding out how many tracks and cars forza 3 is going to have. c'mon its a pretty weak way to attack a game.
