Forza 4 is better than GT 5

The only real argument is graphics (which F4 seems to have beat GT5 on) because in terms of everything else, Forza rolls, lights and smokes GTshadow8585

Forza 3 is better, so of course 4 will be better. GT5 is so boring and lame, and the online componenet sucked. If you want good racing games, get Forza or Dirt 3.

GT5 did have better driving, and it WAS a great game. However, I got bored with it since those times when GT5 really shines are too sparse.

Since Forza 4 looks like it will have GT5's level of premium car modeling CONSISTENTLY, better lighting, better enviroments, autovista mode (car porn), jermey clarkson, better driving model**(im not sure about this, but according to the guys at simracingtonight, Forza 4 at es 2011 had "the best driving model on consoles"), better painting, better tuning, better career mode, better car sounds, better menus.

so... FM4>GT5, but GT5 is good anyways

I'm considering getting GT5 instead, but not because of the game.. It's because I have a $400 Logitec G25 wheel that really needs to be used and I can't use it on the Xbox360.

(I know what I said was heresy... but really the steering wheel is that good)

I've got that.

It doesn't work properly- well maybe not on Test Drive unlimited as the buttons are incorrectly placed and I can only steer to the left for some funny reason.

I still don't know why Logitech and MS can not have their peripherals on the Xbox360.

People also seem to forget the 3D factor with GT5. I bought a 3D tv this past month, and will be recieving a few pairs of 3D glasses this week. I'll have a chance to give a more thorough go at GT5 in 3D.

It seemed to work with FM3 when the guys over at inside sim did the youtube video. Maybe not so much with TDU. In any event its a option for the folks that have a Logitech.

My understanding of why Logitech wheels don't work with the 360 is because LT uses HID for there force feed back and the 360 does not support the protocol. LT doesn't want to rewrite the script just for the 360.

It should have been optional all along. :P For a game that I constantly see being touted as the pinnacle of console-racers, I find it somewhat odd that an incredibly noticeable aid is forced on the player. GT5 with all assists off gives a good deal more control to the player.

I'd love it if competent people had had a say in designing GT5. They ****ed so much up, and it's still practically a better experience than Forza.

If they copy anything from GT5s multplayer I hope it is the prerace lobby system. Jumping onto the track for a few practice laps is infinitely better than staring at the lobby screen when you're waiting for people to finish bathroom/smoke breaks between races.daviwinn

I just recieved my 3D glasses today. With the right setup, this is no comparison. GT5 takes the cake--HOLYCR@P!!!
