Future games that will flop in your opinion

This is an opinion thread. So feel free to post yours too. ( and also you are a loser if you troll. )

Duke Nukem Forever:
Haven't played a singe DK game and I don't care about them, but this game is gonna tank hard. People who played the demo say the graphics look like a 2005 game and the game itself is a COD rip-off ( with health regeneration , etc ) and that is a death certificate for a game that was going to be a homage to 90's FPS and gained popularity only because of that.

Dungeon Siege 3:
According to the trailers, this game is going to make DS 2 look like the best RPG ever and that says a lot. Also not a single positive comment from the people who played the demo.

Star Wars: The old Republic:
It might not sound like that right now, but his game will become one of the biggest flops of the gaming industry. You can quote me on that.

Dragon Age III
We don't know much about this game, that's true. But as long as Mike Laidlow is still in charge, it gonna be a bigger flop than DA2.


Battlefield 3:
EA is just trying too hard. This game is gonna get good marks and it will sell good, but it's no match for MW3 in terms of sale. And I consider that a flop for a crazily hyped game like this.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword:
Although Zelda fans won't let this game to become a flop, but that doesn't change the fact that SS looks like a low budget game from an indie studio.

I think Resistance is a 7.5 at best.

Im excited about Fable Journeys but it depends how much they rely on kinect to do the job. I LOVED the horse concept but need to see more.

I also dont think Uncharted will achieve the same status as its predecessor.

You're right about Duke Nukem. Max Payne 3 has no hype yet but I sense a high floppability. Twisted Metal will get hyped AA and score 7 or less. It's very stupid to hype any exclusive as AAA unless it's a Gears of War, Forza and maybe Uncharted game. Standards have rocketed and nothing else is safe so Zelda might flop again.

Skyward Sword will flop like hell ... that game looks like it could have been released 8 years ago.

Although it will be a smash hit on the consoles, I can imagine that PC gamers will be disappointed at how it bears little resemblance to it's predecessor in terms of gameplay.

Duke Nukem is a no-brainer.

EDIT: After seeingTheOtherTheoG's post, I concur that RAGE will flop something fierce.

I have a feeling the console versions will be hampered by technical issues that'll drag it down to an 8.0.

I think The Old Republic is going to be pretty disappointing to a lot of people. Not because the game is over hyped from the company but because people seem to have disregarded what they've actually said about the game and made up their own hype with no real foundation to it.

I think most hardcore games on Kinect will flop like Starwars and Fable Journey.

Skyward Sword will flop like hell ... that game looks like it could have been released 8 years ago.

The only laughable thing about DKF are the graphics. It will flop most because it's a classic game with what are supposed to be this gen graphics. You know what they say about hyped up games: The hypier they are, the floppier they will be.

Zelda won't flop because of its fans. Graphics somehow won't matter. I don't get it. Zelda is a big franchise on Nintendo consoles without a doubt, yet they release it with flop graphics. But hey, we're talking Zelda here, after Ocarina of Time every Zelda game is good, right? Sad indeed.

I can see all those flopping as far as exclusives go, and that's all anyone seems to care about when it comes to flops.

Of those three, I think Skyward Sword will actually be a crappy game, while the others will be good games with some flaws.

MW3, Duke Nukem, Resistance 3,

Twisted Metal, it just looks "meh".

Duke Nukem is destined to flop, although I hope it doesn't.

Final Fantasy XIII-2. Can I predict that even though the last one was trash?

Dead Island. I haven't read much about it or people's opinions, but I saw a gameplay clip and the game didn't look so good

MW3 wont flop, it's using the same game engine as MW2 and people loved that. IW have way too many fanboys. Unless they do something drastic to the multiplayer It won't happen. Although I would love to see it flop :twisted:.

On Duke Nukem forever: It seems by everybody saying that it'll flop, people are suggesting that it'll score low. This, to me, means that the hype for this game is seriously low, meaning that, by the rules of this silly little flop game, it won't be a flop if it scores low. I hope that made sense.romans828_2002

Dude, So far Galaxy 2 is the best looking game this generation.

Technical graphics don't mean anything to me. It's all about being visually pleasing with creative looking levels.
