Game Informer Tease: New Gears of War.

Alright, I'm callin' it. This will most likely be the Gears equivalent of ODST. In other words, a new campaign with dlc for Gears 3 multiplayer tacked on.

New gameplay mechanic. Instead of fighting Locusts, you fight humans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not really, I know how they are classified as, they are still new standalone releases reguardless of how they are categorized.

Sony and Insomniac categorizes QFB as a standalone game vs. MS and Epic categorizes Raam's shadow as dlc

Insomniac considers it the 2nd part in the future trilogy vs. RS is just a small glimpse into events prior to the events of gears 3

You don't need any other game to play it. I.e. standalone vs. The player needs another game(gears 3) to play RS

Digitally distributed game =/= DLC Some consolites seem to always struggle with the term DLC. DLC is a add-on providing additional content for an existing game. If you have a ps3 I suggest you take a look where QFB is(psn GAMES) and where it is not(Add-ons for games).MFDOOM1983

Not interested, Gears got boring and repetitive after the first game. Horde mode was pretty fun in 3, but aside from that there wasnt much in the game that I enjoyed.
