I liked Dreams and Blackbond a lot (as I see a lot of others did too). I think another thread called Game Over - Not Forgotten and not Missed is in order though. That'd be interesting.

The irony was that yo_foo always baited Blackbond, yo_foo was winning all along. That's why it was so hilarious for me when everybody was like 'lul, yo_foo got owned' and put it in their signatures, they were giving yo_foo what he wanted.

I miss Shailmankand's ":lol:handhelds:lol:" argument to every one of those old ds vs psp threads.

I did not agree with the opinions of some of these users particularly -Oath and Aljosa23 but at the same time they were great posters and I defend their sacred right to voice it, BlackBond and thrones as well, Willy105 is a completely different story, this guy had the most harmless posting history and was a contributor to sw with his monthly issues he did with his own free time something to actually make the forums better and he was banned...

I know this thread is about users but I'll say this here as well, System wars Bets was a completely harmless forum game that made this place much more entertaining and it was taken down for reasons completely beyond my comprehension, there was never any sort of illegal activity in the game and the community was truly bummed when it was taken down, yet nobody cared to hear what the community had to say, disappointing indeed.

I know this thread is about users but I'll say this here as well, System wars Bets was a completely harmless forum game that made this place much more entertaining and it was taken down for reasons completely beyond my comprehension, there was never any sort of illegal activity in the game and the community was truly bummed when it was taken down, yet nobody cared to hear what the community had to say, disappointing indeed.

One person I don't see being mentioned too much here is st1ka. He was one of the best posters on these boards, and then one day he just got banned. I assume that his moderations just eventually piled up.

i doubt many people remember this,but here goes does anyone here remember a thread that popped up on here stating that foo_yoo was killed in a car crash? the poster claimed to be his cousin and that he thought it was best to tell the people of the system wars board of his death. while i didn't believe a single word of it many actually felt sorry for him and didn't even think twice about it. about 4-5 months later...guess who decides to rise from the dead and start posting in the system wars board about his hate towards the halo series :roll:lawlessx

I remember the thread where YoFoo was hurt or killed, but I don't remember the cousin coming back.

Was the cousin funny like YoFoo? If he wasn't, he may really have just been his cousin, who had a dislike or whatever like YoFoo.

I've spent the last couple weeks largely away from SW (and GS in general) and I'm simply floored to see both -Oath and Animal-Mother gone. :cry: Both added... quality to the GS forums and I'm shocked and saddened to see them gone. If GS ever reverses bans (I honestly have no idea if they do), those two would be excellent candidates for immediate reinsatement, IMHO.

Thanks for the thread. It's not really a "happy" read, but a very informative one nonetheless...

He mostly posted on the off-topic board and the PS3 board, Furi was loved. He was very funny, had a great blog, and was most remembered for his love for Haze. Later he fell in love with Bayonetta, and he said he was going to make a game called Bayonhaze. You will be missed Furi.

Bans are reversed if the adminstrators felt they banned a user in error. Other than that, they are permanent.
