8.5 for PS3. I can't wait to pick this up this week. What a way to start off 2010 :D

I expect the PS3 version to score at least a .5 difference ... based off of how bad the demo looked and played compared to the 360s.

1st AAA of the year, I do plan on playing this game sometime though, I knew this game would get AAA once I saw the reviews.:D

the game looks good and I will be purchasing it. However from playing the demos and watching vids I still don't see where AAA comes from. Story seems meh, and the action seems only marginally better than DMC or NG

not bad. im picking up my 360 version later. :)

Seems fair enough. But seeing the plethora of games in the near future and the amount free time I will have on my hands, I won't be buying this game for sure.

My prediction was right! :D

Too bad the PS3 version is inferior though. Maybe some of the problems that are bringing it down can be fixed via patches

Finally the GS review, also it didn't take very long for 2010 to get its first AAA game, only 5 days.

So far GS score wise, the 360 version of Bayonetta is better than other games in the hack-n-slash beat 'em up action genre, better than Heavenly Sword, Devil May cry 4, Ninja Gaiden 2, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. A good AAA to start off the year.

If you're planning to get this this week and a ToysRUs is near you, they're giving a $10 dollar gift card with this game and Darksiders, and I think if you're a Reward Member you get $40 if you buy both. Also there's a $5 dollar coupon in the store for purchases over $25 this week. And Best Buy and Target can always price match. I'm tempted.
