I dunno man. Summoning a plethora of overblown execution/torture instruments (guillotine, giant chainsaw, iron maiden, spiked torture wheel, etc.) sounds pretty shocking and brutal to me. If you're referring to GOW3's depiction of gore, then that's a different story. When I was playing the Bayonetta demo I was able to see the guillotine execution and the one where her suit thing turns into a dragon and eats the boss you fight. That was brutal, but it wasn't god of war brutal. I don't really know how to explain it. I think it really all comes down to the animation speed (in Bayonetta all the animation are really quick and the action is very fast) and overall art style of the game. Bayonetta looks great, but it definitely looks more like an arcade style game compared to GoWIII. I mean you have a total score for each level in Bayonetta. That just has arcade written all over it.[QUOTE="mD-"]
Bayonetta may have the deeper fast paced combat, but it will be probably missing the epicness and overall shock/brutality that god of war brings.
