why?
carlisledavid79
I'm actually also going to ask you why as well there carlisledavid76. This is one of those rare cases where graphical bugs and horrible preformance takes away fro the overall quality of the game. I don't know why you would willingly buy the version that is going to feel a lot less finished and less of a game.
90% of multiplats a few graphical hicups here and there aren't anything to worry about, but I've seen the differences myself. The game in areas looks completely different than the 360 version and the framerate is just horrible. For an action title this is really going to detract from the experiance.
First thing, Carlisledavid76?, aggh im not 34 :P Second yeah I do get your point and I cannot deny the 360 version is the better version. But Gamespot still rate this as great and im still going to try it out for myself on the PS3 first. Now it may come down to the point that it does for me detract from the experience, and in that case I will return it for the 360 version instead.if thats the case, rent the pS3 version and see if you can tolerate it.

Yet you bashed the 360 version of Dragon Age and praised the PS3 version.
Hmm, why the change in tune? Oh yes, it's been the 360 version is superior here and by a whole point, not a half of one.
i have been a reader for awhile, and I do know that if this was the other way around you would see this thread about doubled and alot more fireworks. I give Lemmings credit for that.

Nope. I said that DA:O on the 360 was the inferior version and it was so inferior it needed a score difference. Same thing here, son. No change in tune here, boyo.I don't remember you sticking up for the 8.5 Dragon Age, so why do it with the 8.0 Bayonetta? Hmm...
Nevermind, I know. ;)

I did get a little curious about that and Dragons Age review. It is interesting to see the difference and these games are not that far apart. That review got up to 51 page long.i have been a reader for awhile, and I do know that if this was the other way around you would see this thread about doubled and alot more fireworks. Cows are more rabid, simple as that. I can see now why Bioshockownz made his post about you now.
Because you can't exactly compare a hack n slash with an RPG?it was only a rumor, if Sony would helped the game, we could see the same quality in both games most likely, knowing how strong Sony 1st party devs areDidn't Sony state that they were going to help to try to fix the problems? I guess it wasn't enough and I guess the next time Sony says they're going to help out on other multiplats with problems, it might not mean much.

[QUOTE="dommeus"]everyone makes mistakes in life buddy, it would be less "professional" if they didn't change the score even if they think it should be changed Considering they get paid to write these reviews and choose these ratings for the benefit of their readers (the traffic which funds them somewhat through advertising), yes I think it is unprofessional.Wait, did Gamespot change the PS3 review from 8.5 to 8.0 after publishing?! Lol, professional.

"Slowly pulls down tin-foil hat over head"Who here hasn't had a typo in something they were writing up? It happens.
It was far more important for GS to correct the mistake, to make sure the posting matched the reviewers intended score as soon as possible, then to let it slide and just say, "well, its not like anybody would know". Covering up the mistake by pretending it wasn't, would be the far worse breach of professional ethics, than simply making a mistake. Mistakes happen in any professional environement and things are kept professional by correcting them as soon as possible, and to make sure the report says what it was originally intended to.
As someone who regularly rails on cows, I do have to say that lemmings are really not inherently more "mature". They are just not obsessively brand loyal in the utterly bizzare super-extreme way that cows are (sheep were once like this, but they've mellowed out). Cows are just in their brand loyalty meltdown phase right now (again, sheep most liely were once like this). It has nothing to do with them as people. It has more to do with their situation. The fall from dominance was brutal and it alienates them to see the tables turned, causing massive damage (points to anybody who can figure out where that phrase comes from) to the collective fanboy pysche and thus they seem to act more "extreme". Lemmings might very well act the same way in the future if they develop the same amount of brand loyalty over time.
E3 2006 Sony Press Conference...ahhh good times, good times.
The best action game(for now) of this gen is upon us.:Djg4xchampI expect it to stay that way for a while.

Wait are you saying lems didint overreact to the score of DA:O? If so then where were you.
where you playing it on easy or something? button mashing gets you stomped in Bayonetta. and of course people are praising the combat, its some of the best ever. unless youre just not into these types of games. its my favorite genre by far and i think Bayonetta is the first game that beat out Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2s combat and thats saying a lot.the game looks great, plays hreat (PS3 demo speaking) but it's a button smashing game, i dun get it the ppl who are prasing the game combos....etc while you can button smash all ur enemies till the end of the demo.

[QUOTE="jg4xchamp"][QUOTE="ChartTopper93"] Lemmings and mature. oh god. Penalty Flag for false advertisement From what I remember of what happened when DA:O came out and the cow response to getting .5 higher due to better graphics, while the 360 version had the better frame rate and performance . . .YES lemmings are far more mature it seems. Cows acted as if DA:O on the 360 was UNPLAYABLE. So far reading through this thread I've seen little / no PS3 bashing. If you go back actions as a basis for opinion, then it's clear lemmings don't stoop to the level of cows.lemmings are typically more mature than cows. you might see some cows come in whining but i doubt there will be an all out offensive on cows by lemmings. except the extreme ones.

Yea guess you missed all those threads when the famitsu review came out about the bad ps3 version. Its pretty tame now since the bash fest has already happend.
my questiton is What happened to the good old days of, "hey everyone isn't this game awesome lets all enjoy it" Instead we get "MAN VERISON PWNS YOURS LAWLS SAUCE"
Wait are you saying lems didint overreact to the score of DA:O? If so then where were you.Lemmings weren't the only ones who were confused at the absurd reasoning of Kevin-V for justifying the differences in the scores.finalfantasy94
if this game got aaa then gow3 should easily get aaaa.
ZoomZoom2490
If GOW3 got 9.5, where Beyonetta got 9.0 on 360, that would be sufficiently higher a score. Why does it "have" to get AAAA now? :|
But then I would expect this from the same guy who believes GT5 "will" score 10, just because FM3 scored 9.5
