As some of you may have already noticed the review score for the PS3 version of Bayonetta has been changed to an 8.0. Apologies to everyone, but when I posted my reviews for this game I personally made an error and incorrectly posted the PS3 version with a score of 8.5, which was not intended. We have since corrected this and appended an editor's note that addresses this. Sorry guys!LarkAnderson

Awesome. So happy this game continues to get the recognition it deserves. I'll be picking up the 360 version tomorrow. Can't wait to play it!

Now that the PS3 score was changed to an 8 my predictions were right on the money. I'm happy that the "true" version of the game got AAA.

Wow, Gamespot liked Bayonetta! :shock: They have come a long way. I thought it wasn't going to be one of GS's fave's like it would be mine.

Hideki Kamiya FTW! The PS3 version got a great score (subpar as it is), but the 360 version did uber amazing (SPECTACULAR). A shame Kamiya san and his team didn't make the PS3 version.:(

Now, let's hope gamers bother to buy it and play it! I have a feeling other than the news about Kamiya not making the PS3 version, gamers won't buy the game! Go buy it!

I posted a list of differences in a thread around here, but needless to say the 360 version is the version to buy, if you got the hardware. If not, get the PS3 version, as it's still decent, but inferior.

Too bad the PS3 is the inferior version, but i don't care, i'm gonna get this game no matter what, it looks amazing.

I'm glad to see it's a glitch, when I used your links, it reported wrong. I then read through the entire thread, and found out it's a glitch.I then fixed my post befory you posted this, so that was odd. I'm just glad all is well. Great game for PS3, freakin' awsome great game for 360. I have had the 360 version reserved for over a year.

I'm more surprised GS actually loved it for either system, very good news indeed!

You gotta stay caught up on times; last time I checked Gamespot was suppose to be on Sony's payroll. Either way, everyone saw this one coming.

I'd buy Bayonetta but I want Mass Effect 2 more and I'm working on limited funds.

Nice! Picking up a copy tomorrow. Don't really think the score difference is ownage worthy though,considering we all knew it was coming.

another watered down multiplat on PS3 is hardly surprising, that's kinf of what the console is there for

what's funny though is how bad the exclusives are for the PS3 this year. apart from god of war 3 what else is there?

It's about gameplay, there is a story though.

I really wish the PS3 version was as good as the 360 version, but I'm extremely glad to see this game score AAA. IMO, people had something against it for the stupidest reasons and I'm glad to see those people get owned. It's fine to not like the game, but some people were intent on hating this from the time info started trickling in about it.

lemmings are typically more mature than cows. you might see some cows come in whining but i doubt there will be an all out offensive on cows by lemmings. except the extreme ones.

Yeah, definitely that (it's absurd that some people must compare everything in a knee-jerk sort of way).ALso, for some, there was gender-based reasons for hating the game.

I see no need for ownage to PS3 owners. They will arguably pass on a fantastic title because Sega didn't make sure it was ready to ship for both systems, or offer to keep the PS3 in development for another month or however long it took. If there is any ownage it's obviously on Sega for not shipping a product 100% and thus losing sales. Smart.
