mildly better graphics certainly is something to consider, but the difference will likely be insignificant compared to the difference in other features/price. Im probably not going to get any console at launch and will wait to see how things like kinect 2.0/multitasking/hdmi in play out vs saving $100... thats the main thing im concerned about in in next gen consoles (and probably most consumers). Whether or not the added features of the X1 can justify the price difference. Slightly better graphics, while nice, isnt something im particularly concerned about.

Now for the life of me with all the money m$ has why don't they have more and better 1st party devs. Sony also has many indie devs on board. Now unles your a hermit you may not be into indie games but they are cheap and fun. On multiplats I don't think there will be much difference like the multiplats between the ps2 and xbox. 3rd parties rarely make use of the extra power. Either way I would like to see great games of all types. I also have a wii u and I have no idea wtf nintendo is doing.

Note that PS4 has slightly greater potential compared to X1. The problem is with the humans driving the PS4 hardware i.e. most comes from the foreign PS3 (CELL/RSX) knowledge base.

Sony is competing against PC/Xbox 360 programmers on their home turf i.e. X86 PC with GPU bias compute models.

Yes hey both are GCN but the PS4 has 8 Aces and 64 compute commands,GCN including the 7970 has only 2 Aces 4 compute commands,the PS4 GPU is heavily customize for compute jobs,the xbox one GPU isn't.

HSA on PS4 is different as on GCN.
