Actually, Halo 2 outsold Halo, and Halo 3 outsold Halo 2.

I don't care about sales, that's not what makes a game great. I care about the quality of the game (gameplay, story, controls, etc) and I definitely want to get Call of Duty Black Ops 2. I most likely won't have enough money for Halo 4, but that depends on how many people click on the link in my signature for free stuff, so please at least check out the free deals in the link below. It would help me out a lot, thanks! ;)

I got to play a few matches of Halo 4 while I was at Fan Expo, and while it does still "feel" like Halo, there are a few things that I did notice. I should mention that the version I played was the one from E3, so things might have changed by now.

First, the distance of your grenades when you throw them has significantley been nerfed, you can no longer through super far distances like you could in Halo 3. Instead they tend to drop down rather quickly (kind of like CoD: WaW). One of the best things about Halo have always been the awesome throws you could do with grenades, I'm hoping that has been changed.

Second, while this really isn't a big deal, the fact that they added hit markers and the "+10 Kill" notifiers are pretty much useless or annoying. Trying to figure out if you have hit someone has never been the biggest problem in Halo since the shields would light up if you hit them and they still do, making the hit markers extra effects that can be a distraction (at least for me) or just useless since you already know that you hit someone. As for the kill notifiers, there happens to be the text on the lower left screen to tell you who you just killed (or if you did).

Third, the point system, I have never been a big fan of this since someone who got more kills, more assists, less deaths than everyone else can end up not being the top player, which makes no sense what so ever. This happened to me and my friend, in our third game I went 9, 6, 5 (K, A, D), he went 10, 5, 4, in other words he did better than me overall, yet i was top player because I had more points. That can be real fustrating when someone who did worse than you beat you, you don't see that happening in real life for the same reason you shouldn't see it in video games, it makes no sense.

Things like these (in addition to the loadouts), make me cautiously pysched for Halo 4. I guess we really won't see until the game releases.

another issue that annoyed me with Halo 4 beta was that not many weapons seemed to have had a zoom option ( iron sights? ) only snipers had a zoom option and some weapons they zoom so much you see a blank screen with an X in the middle which really was annoying.

Lastly, imo the sensitivity was very slow, even at max..turning around took ages and since i play CoD too much im very used to turning around quickly as soon as i hear a sound of footsteps.

im sure story mode/co-op will be fun but i dont think MP will last for too long..a week and people should go back to CoD again not to mention the week after will be the release of BO2 BUT overall the beta was lots of fun! i had mega fun with the beta and would love to play it again but will be addictive? no

I can try the PS Plus trial for CS, so I'll see what it's like. But I doubt it will top COD. Actually Counter Strike does not have a campaign does it? Then never mind, SP is important to me, I don't buy games without SP modes.

I was playing MW3 earlier today, so much fun. I like Kill Confirmed, I also got some new kill streaks to check out and I unlocked the Steady Aim perk now. I win so easily by using a sub machine gun equipped with that perk.

BTW is Chaos worth getting? It's a Special Ops mode and I was thinking about buying it, but I know next to nothing about it.

Halo is may be taking many things from COD, which is a good thing, but it's not good enough. I saw the gameplay footage for Halo 4, the gameplay looks so outdated. You can't even aim down sights! What the hell 343? If you want to copy the master (COD) then you should do it right.

But I am not hating on the game, I hope it's good quality so the Halo fans will appreciate it. I just don't see how someone can play it compared to other shooters, especially with Black Ops 2 coming out, it looks so much better than Halo it's not even funny.

I am thinking about changing it to Sephiroth or another Final Fantasy character, but I can't decide. But Elder Scrolls is awesome and Dark Elves are the superior race.

Yeah at one point Halo was a pretty good Arena shooter (in that everyone was on equal ground and you didn't have loadouts and all that garbage). Now its just a steming pile of COD.

Did you play both games? did they suck because you sucked playing them? :o.. because many lems seem to say that saying Y or X game is trash must mean the player is trash so you must have sucked so much.

both games are great but not as good as CoD imo, ame with Halo.

So sad tho that lems play Sales way too much, sales arent games guys

I can try the PS Plus trial for CS, so I'll see what it's like. But I doubt it will top COD. Actually Counter Strike does not have a campaign does it? Then never mind, SP is important to me, I don't buy games without SP modes.

I was playing MW3 earlier today, so much fun. I like Kill Confirmed, I also got some new kill streaks to check out and I unlocked the Steady Aim perk now. I win so easily by using a sub machine gun equipped with that perk.

BTW is Chaos worth getting? It's a Special Ops mode and I was thinking about buying it, but I know next to nothing about it.

Yeah Counter Stirke is only online, has no SP and the online is quite fun.. it has modes similar to what CoD has like sabotage, One in the Chamber and so on.

as for the Chaos maps im really not sure, havent bought them myself to try sadly.
