I play both multipltats and exclusives, most of the games are multiplats so that is what makes up the majority of my game library. But I still enjoy many PS3 exclusives, much more than I ever did with the 360 one's (both console and otherwise).

This year as far as exclusives go I had fun with Twisted Metal and Journey. I skipped Star Hawk because I don't like games with bad SP modes and it doesn't interest me much. I am looking forward to LBP Karting and PlayStatioin All-Stars very much. I am still playing games from last year too like LBP2 and Uncharted 3.

You are only hyping Halo because it's an exclusive to 360, if Halo was a PS3 game you would hate it. You're not really a Halo fan, or even a 360 fan. You only "like" it because your parents wouldn't buy you a PS3.

Call of Duty is one of the biggest and best games ever, of course it influences other FPS games! Sales do not equal quality, look at Shadow of the Colossus, it sold bad but was still great in quality. You like Haze, which sucks, but to you it is good quality but it did not sale well either.

And the so called "differences" in multiplats are not noticable, BO2 will be no excpetion to that. It is better on PS3 IMO because of controller preference, free online and trophies.

People should research for themselves. Halo is not copying COD. COD is the elephant in the room with halo devs. They are going to mention it to break the ice, but that doesn't mean copy.

Like I said. CE set the standard for consoles, no CE, no COD.

Everyone here has proven your arguement to be invalid. Halo has set the freakin standard for console FPS. For example, the aim-assist used in CoD uses a modified code of the one in Halo.

I have a 360, it is 20GB. It was my first system this gen. I thought about upgrading to a Slim but there is not enough of a reason to do so. I can afford XBL, I just choose not to pay for it because I am getting the same thing for free elsewhere (PSN). Why pay for something when I can get it for free? That makes no sense, that's just throwing money away.

I pay for PS Plus, it's about the same price as XBL. It's $50 a year but actually saves me money and pays for it's self. Too bad you can't say the same thing about an XBL Gold subscription.

Call of Duty has set a standard amongst competitive online gamers. Halo has continued to meet that standard and what better way to match them again than with an addictive progression system.

But really that kind of music is made primarily for 12 year old girls and is just a passing fad, someone new will come along they will obsess over again. The cycle just repeats it's self, they will never go down in history as an influencial artists. No one is going to be listining to them 10 years from now.

If one looks objectively at the measure of quality in any product the chief component is whether or not the product works as advertised. what is the chief marketing of video games? entertainment and fun....now you could fool me but objectly the majority of the time that when a game gets lots of sales its becuase it gives the consumer what they want entertainment, and fun now that would mean I would think that the majority of time yes sales do equal quality and while there are always exceptions to the rule that does not invalidate the rule. Looks like Halo to me, from visuals to gameplay. Actually looks pretty impressive for a console game!

Am confused, teh Halo sucks, because multiplayer has some influence from CoD. Lems owned.

Yet the PS3 fans are all acting like CoD is the best thing ever in this thread. Which is interesting because people aren't usually so vocal about CoD. But when it can be used against the 360 they are.

TC said MW3 sold 10M, so they love CoD. Something must have gone right there. 343 make a decision to evolve Halos multiplayer using some ideas from CoD and that's a bad thing?

It's that same stubborn prideful attitude that held GT5 back.

Also it's fairly bloody ironic for the Sony fans to call out something on a another platform for using others ideas.
