I love how people immediately go towards the doom and gloom when they announce console plans.

If consoles are so much of a problem and their practices too painful to bear, the PC will definitely take you places that you want to go.

Don't like it find a new hobby. Game are more expensive to make. People pirate all the time. Studios have been closing down left and right. They have to protect their investments.

None of this will matter because as soon as the general masses realise the hassle and hoops they have to jump through just to play some games they'll stop buying the xb and go to either sony or nintendo leaving ms to pick up the wreckage that is the xbone.

That and people are really underestimating how much the console isn't going to appeal to the "entertainment" crowd that Micrsoft was chasing after. No one is going to invest $500 into this when they can get a smart tv, roku, or apple tv. That doesn't even include the fact that Microsoft turned off a lot of "core" gamers.
