Thats true. DOn't get me wrong,looks like a great game,just like the first one,but all these lemmings were getting me pumped to see the Crysis killer in the graphics department.

• No more Corridors of War
• No more only 8 characters on screen at once
• No more three colors as the game has actual color this time around lol

Wow now this is a trailer. Action packed. Shows off the gameplay real nice. I mean wow I'm just jacked for this game and I don't even own the first one lol. I beat and played it before though many times.

Well,go to the other thread,the one with like 9 pages and you'll see one lemmings already claiming Crysis killer. Then count the others I've been seeing over the past weeks and it's a fair amount.

Pretty cool, but the whole concept of the locusts looks boring Those ogres looked lame and I can guarantee theyll become a nuisance later on in the campaign when you dont have your big guns. Oh how I wish they would make the game more horror oriented, instead of something weve seen 1000x before.

It looks only marginaly more detailed than first Gears, but they've improved the scale a lot.

Overall impressive, nowhere near Crysis, but on consoles? Easily among the best.

Yeah, minority =/= majority. Don't hurt this games sexy presentation by saying that a bunch of lems hyped it to be better looking than KZ2. A few fakeboys, maybe, but the majority of the other lems, just no. This is as good as it gets on consoles this year.

Why would anyone buy a 360 for this if they didn't buy one for the first Gears? As I said,it looks the same with technical improvements and some new fight moves.

Just being honest. It looks great but nothing to piss your pants over. Just like the Killzone 2 video. I'm frankly pretty dissapointed with these games right now.

I see the developers were very liberal this time around with the colour palette!

But it looks really badass. I look forward to haveing this whole game spoiled for me by having my roommate playing through the whole thing while I am watching, much like he did with the original.

anybody else feel like it was so unbelievably grey that it was hard to see what the heck was going on? I'm over exaggerating a little but there were times where my eyes had trouble keeping up with the grey on top of grey on top of more grey. Silenthps

I might actually get this one. The first one was such a bore fest. The action and amount of things going on is crazy..however people saying that the graphics are oh so amazing like crysis; well, they are truly purty but it really looks JUST like gears one with a little color here and there and different lighting...Essentially, it is the same. I still see KZ2 looking better since it practically looks like cgi in my opinion...uh oh, I guess Im a cow using damage control :roll:

Like I said though; As soon as Im able to get a 360 again(should be about june or july), I will buy this when it comes out..

Im not so sure, im pretty skeptical of what they showed off today. I mean the general theme looked amazing but getting right down to it, I was only seeing about the typical 5 enemy battle along with more context sensitive action sequences. Sure you saw the "locust crowd" come into play with that new Unreal Engine 3.5 and some lightings here and there so it looks marginally better than before along with the scale but to which extent is your interaction with what was shown in the background? The weapons shown off is new but very "standard" compared to what Gears originally brought with the Torque Gun and chainsaw bayonet.

Will it play better? Ill reserve that judgement until I can get my hands on the game but im just not a believer yet even though im pretty sure Epic didnt show off their cards just yet.

It does look nice...It looks a bit shaper and cleaner than the first Gears...doesn't look that much improved graphically though...in fact, it damn near looks the same...I guess its safe to say KillZone 2 is the better looking game.

The people saying "omg it looks so amazing"...you guys have never played the first Gears have you? Cause it looks the same.
