GEARS2 FTW gameplay video RIGHT HERE

Thats true. DOn't get me wrong,looks like a great game,just like the first one,but all these lemmings were getting me pumped to see the Crysis killer in the graphics department.

Here is what I liked about the trailer:

Action Packed! With all the stuff going on, you'll be on your toes at all times. It's awesome how they did that, it might turn up the diffculty, or it should. But that is a good thing, whereas you'll be on your toes at all times.

Improved Graphics, by a semi margarine, not beyond belief, and not to the extent that I was personally hoping for.

What I didn't like about the trailer:

What's up with the Human shield now?? Copying MGS and Splinter Cell now! I mean those games I can understand your dealing with humans, but when you holding onto a six hundred pound of muscle alien, you think they are going to stand there and LET YOU!? Think they are afraid of having their neck snapped or dying?? Well I guess they might have a cute alien family waiting for them to come back home too. :P

Not as improved graphics I hoped for, everyone was saying this is the end all be all in graphics on gaming for consoles ... well it didn't seem that much improved from Gears 1.

I agree, just amazing that this 3 year old console can pull graphics like this. The motion blur looks amazing as well.

How can you say that looks the same as Gears 1? Nothing in Gears one had so much moving at the same time, both on land and in the air, and with that Brumack attacking? The epic scale is where the rgaphics shine so much brighter than Gears one. In no way, shape or form does Gears 1 compare to this game except that Marcus himself looks the same. But the scope and scale, the sher number of characters, and the size of them are greatly improved. I know we all have our own opinions, but this game for me truly outclasses KZ2. I think Gears only comp will be Resistance 2. Gears 2 is a graphics powerhouse, IMHO.

You should really see KillZone 2 vid...not only is it more technically advanced than that...it has alot more crap going on than Gears 2....at a constant framerate.

The draw distance and detail of the trees and especially mountains in the distance was extremely impressive. Seeing such detail and rich textures at that kind of distance is very impressive. And that one factor puts the game at least a notch above the first one graphically, if you ask me. It just seems much crisper overall, with a nice rich pop.

WOW JUST WOW that was orgasmic, so much action going on, unlike the pretty yet plain and boring Crysis.

The game is very clean, but the gameplay remains the same.

Also more things going on, which is good.

KZ2 and Gears 2 battle it out for the graphics department.

dude I'm pc first ps3 second and an honest review of both graphically they both have high points and down the character models on kill zone 2 blow gears away while gears has pretty textures and alot of draw distance. But overall in detail Kill zone 2 beats it out imo.

I don't know Bio. I was a huge fan of Gears of War 1 and was flabergasted the first time I played it at the level of detail, it was just. . . well. . . no words. I saw the video tonight and I don't know, something just doesn't look right, perhaps its the camera. GeoW1 I actually felt as though I, the main character was IMMERSED in the level where as the video tonight, I felt like I was watching a character in front of a blue screen. I was and still am amazed at the detail of KZ2, although at this point that is all there is to be impressed with since I haven't played any of it. I know GeoW2 will be fantastic but I don't know if its graphically THAT much better than the first and that is only because the 1st set the bar so high already.

The level from the video can't really compare to a level from the first game.

Honestly who cares, Gears is supposed to have this gritty feel to it, not have the world all colorful thats filled with sunshine. The only color a game like Gears really needs is red...lots of it.

Well, you have to be realistic in your expectations. It's running on a 3 year old console. It doesn't matter though, I've played Crysis and the 360 and PS3 are still capable of stunning graphics.

It seems like the 360 fans are more on damage control right now as this game is their last chance to shine in the graphics department, and now that everyone has seen that it's similar to the first in that aspect.

Well they have to hype something I guess.

It looks good, the using the enemy as a shield bit looked a bit tacked on, but I liked everything else. It was probably because it was going too fast for me to notice, but I couldn't see much of an improvement over the original on the technical side, besides many more enemies.

There's just not enough there for me to judge how much of an improvement it really is, I'll keep an eye out for what's to come though.
