no, what im saying is i dont really care about moving my computer because i dont care about paying 600 dollars for moving pixels on a screen. my xbox does all i want it to do.

i dont care, because it still costs more than an xbox 360. i dont give a flying f--k if the textures are slightly better. the game looks great on my hdtv, i dont care about the exact pixel rating. all i care about is if it plays the games i want to play without having framerate issues and the sort, and im pretty sure any normal person wouldnt care either.TreetarD93

For gaming its only marginally faster looking at that benchmark and thats only because its stock clock speed is at 2.66Ghz versus the q6600's 2400Mhz. It certainly isn't worth the extra $100 (if what you mostly do is game) with less overclocking ability. Wouldn't your supreme hermit skills come into play here? I mean you spent boatloads of extra money for a trivial "boost" in performance. Unless, your PC is prebuilt which would sort of negate your hermit status cause pre-built = againts the hermit code of conduct.

You can get the q6600 to nearly 4Ghz(With good MB+RAM, same for the Q9450) thanks to its higher multiplyer, which is 9x. You certainly didn't choose the q9450 for its overclocking, no one does. You don't use it for video encoding which you admitted..minuscule increases, if any at all for $100+ dollars? Doesn't really add up, either your a n00b or your lieing.
