I'm mostly interested in the next-gen announcements. That's the sole reason actually excited to watch it this year, but I don't even have cable so I will be F5ing the VGA thread instead.

It was weak-ass Spartan 3s leaning on things and being leisurely. Then Noble Six got frowned at, they talked, and then left. Cut to title. WHHHHOOOOAAAAAA!!!! Sorry, I thought Halo was a SHOOTER not a STANDER. Halo 3's launch trailer pisses on that sh*t all day.

Acknowledging the greatness of the Halo 3 E3 trailer does not discount the lameness of the Reach trailer. I sat through those awful awards too and I wanted to kill myself, all waiting for the amazing reveal of Halo freaking Reach. Then I get people talking. :( The music was nice, though.

Reach was a much smaller scale. The trailer was fine for what the game actually was. I mean, let's be real: How many trailers are as good as the Halo 3 E3 '06 trailer? You can count them on one hand, for f*ck's sake. If that's the standard for comparison, you'll be disappointed by pretty much everything. But yeah, great music.
