give me 5 facts why you say xbox live is better than psn

TELL ME ABOUT ONLINE GAMEPLAY NOT DEMOS,ARCADE GAMES,MOVIES,TWITTER....NONE OF THAT BUT HOW IT PLAYS ONLINE i want fact and i dont wanna know bout twitter or face book as i can get them on a ps3 if i wanted, also with video rental i dont wanna know bout it, people always say online is better on 360 but when i play a 360 online then play a ps3 online i dont see any differnce,,

online play is the same

PS3 and 360

can play with friends invite/join

create/join/matchmaking

can voice chat in game ( xbox has the upper hand i no with private ingame chat but thats the only difference)

i have good internet so i dont get any lag no matter what console

the gameplay experience is the same the online experience is the same,

(jus wish more people had mics on ps3 maybe) every1 on my 360 has a mic

integraded MSN messenger is my favourite part about Xbox live, playing and talking on the messenger at the same time is a win for me

I also like the fact that everyone has a mic on xbox Live

The only one I can think of is cross-game chat/ party system. But as far as features goes, it's one Sony should have copied sooner rather than later.

integraded MSN messenger is my favourite part about Xbox live, playing and talking on the messenger at the same time is a win for me

I also like the fact that everyone has a mic on xbox Live

The difference is minimal. However, the argumnet has been XBL is a better service than PSN. A service involves everything it offers which is why those are valid points. I hate when posters make topics asking a question just to argue with the reesponders and tell them they are wrong. Atleast if you want to do that have it in a worthwhile thread.

lol fail right there. LIVE is more then just online gaming. its getting XBLA games before PSN, its getting demos weeks before PSN, its getting DLC before PSN. Live fees goes towards bribing devs to give us content BEFORE PS3. then theres party chat and netflix movie sharing.

Its whats makes 360 gamers elite and ps3 gamers waiting for the seconds IMO

what u cant deal with is that LIVE is more then just playijng games online.

that and that u cant deal with supporting an inferior, yet free service. just deal with it.

PSN and Xbox Live play very similarly. Xbox Live isn't really known for being better because of better gameplay, it's known for being better for its extra features. You can't just pretend that the arcade and cross-game chat features don't exist.

If things like cross game chat, more games, more users and a messenger service don't move you then more power to ya, but it moves some of us

Playing online is the same with both. You take binary bits, convert them to electrical pulses and send them over a wire.

However, XBL is not just about playing online it is about community and integration. Some features work in some games and some games have certain features on PSN but XBL has everything in every game, as it is a stipulation by Microsoft to all developers.

Then you get more content, earlier content, better chat system, everyone has a mic, games are played for longer, bigger selection of arcade titles, community made games and so on. PSN has ... home, which is about as disjointed as a community gets.

How about being able to actually find an online match to play in games more than 6 months old? The 360 does that while the PS3 has you counting tumbleweeds instead.

You get more out of the online portion of all games with live which extends the playtime life and value of the game you spent your money on. Especially for multiplats.

dedicated servers as opposed to p2p, and an online community that isn't composed of 6-14 year olds and total douchbags. I don't care if I don't get to talk to people that often on PS3 with my mic, silence is better than hearing a whiny kid scream while he plays or having someone blare music into their headset just to piss people off. In all honesty I have had maybe 3 good conversations on psn and absolutely none on xbl. when recalling stupid conversations some idiot was calling everyone racial slurs on Uncharted 2 once so I kicked him, thats about all I can come up with, but almost every time I play on xbl I have to deal with nonsensical douchbags who I have to mute because kicking them does no good, they just get replaced by other nonsensical douchbags.....don't say the community is better because its bigger, if I want to play a ps3 game online I can find a game online fine, the only difference is the sound of silence which I consider a good thing

they are basically the same, I play online only on ps3 because im not going to pay for something that i can get for free. basically anyone who says live is better, is just saying it to justify it in their mind that they are paying 50 bucks a year plus isp to play online.

I have both 360 and PS3 and anything i want to play online i will get for PS3. Not interested in chatting, arcade games, msn i just want to play multiplayer. I cannot justify having to pay for online when i can get it for free on another system.

Sure Live has a larger community but PS3's community isnt as small as some people would have you believe, Never had any trouble getting full online games in Warhawk, Bad Company, Motorstorm, Resistance and Killzone 2. Most multiplats have large communities on PS3 when they get released, GTA 4 was one game that i could always get full matches in, nowadays though i can hardly find people......but who cares really, it means that the community have moved on to something better. That just makes the argument worse if your paying to play an old game online.

M$ could offer live for free, but why would they when people continue to pay for it.
