[QUOTE="BioShockOwnz"]That car model has a ton, and I mean a ton, of jaggies.:o-Renegade
Because Forza 2(the best racer on the 360) looks sooooo much better.
Is it suppose to look like that? :? There's jaggies EVERYWHERE.
Forget about the jaggies, the car model looks like crap.

Agreed. Nothing can compete with this:
So when are they gonna do something about the rest of the game? When are they gonna showcase some actual significant improvements to the series? And when are they gonna stop wasting time on Prologue?InsaneBasura
I agree...Not one word has been said since April....where are all the cows that said Spec III will include a damage model and the ring...
yes it is obviously the 'car model king'.
but after forza 2 was basically ripped a new a-hole for having jaggies are we supposed to ignore all of those and be impressed?
another spec? WTF how many times are they going to update this damn demo, by the time the full game comes out people are already going to be sick with it from the demosupermechakirby
They're adding more content to the game. That's hardly something to complain about....

It's great to add more content.....But it's utter garbage when they make such updates that your saved set-ups become useless....
I enjoy taking hours to set up a car and have the set-up destroyed because PD wants to "update" the physics....
AMAZING there is no game on any console that produces car models like these.-Renegade
you know you are in trouble when you are saying this. lol.......... oh yeahhhhh
GT is a bore. I bought Prologue and haven't played it since April when it came out. At this point I really don't give a crap about it. I had more fun playing Forza 2.heretrix
Well I wouldn't go as far as to say it's a bore per se but I've definitely had more fun with Forza 2.
I'll download this update and play around with GT5: P for the first time in a while but unless there are some substantial changes...back to Forza 2 I go.
Try this on for size - you can only wish you could do this with GT5 once it's launched in what, 2010? :P
Introducing the Fable 2 Lotus Exige Espionage!
The latest addition to Turn 10's exclusive line-upof cars has finally arrived and I have to say our livery editor magician Fred "Redesign" Howell has done it once again. This represents the second fully customized unicorn car released officially from Turn 10 Studios, and oh what a release it is. With the help of Lionhead studios, developers of Fable 2, we have put together this officially sanctioned exclusive unicorn car. Together we are proud to present the Fable 2 Lotus Espionage!
With conflicting imagery of good and evil, along with signatures from a handful of Lionhead developers, this car reinforces the question...who will you become? Find out this October when Fable 2 hits retails shelves across the globe.
The Fable 2 Lotus Espionage will be released in very limited quantities on the Auction House starting this week with a fleet of 25 individually numbered rides. These are the rarest of the rare that cannot be re-sold or gifted, so once they are gone...that's it! This car has also been added to our roster of exclusive cars that can be selected as gifts by the winners of our sponsored competitions, however these versions will not be numbered individually.
Due to increased demand these cars are limited to one per customer. Repeat buyers beware, as we will be strictly enforcing and monitoring these Auctions for foul play.
Stay tuned for more details on how you can get ahold of one of these beauties, but for now check out the latest addition to Turn 10's Exclusive Car List!

Wow.
That looks amazing! I'm going to have to try to grab one of those off the auction house! :D
[QUOTE="W1NGMAN-"][QUOTE="kozzy1234"]To bad the gameplay cant come close to Forza2.kozzy1234
It can't? Why?
Forza2 gameplay >>>> GT5P gameplay, not that hard to understand
Whoops quoted the wrong person above...
anyways...
Can you elaborate, I'm having a hard time understanding.

Those are gorgeous pics and that is a very cool thing about Forza. One of my buddies here at work says thats all he does anymore is paint cars. His don't look nearly that good, but he enjoys it.
Personally I don't even paint the cars in Need For Speed, I just care about driving. That's probably why I like GranTurismo more. GT especially with a good wheel is amazing.

I agree. And I think solid colors look better anyway.
That Fable car was ugly. I would never do that to my car in real life.
And I would never want to do it to my car in Gran Turismo.
[QUOTE="masiisam"]Yawnnn...same old thread...
Other than the car models...GT5P is garbage for a SIM....
Snugenz
Agreed 100%, Polyphony need to forget about making the cars looking as good as possible and start making the game play as good as possible.:?
They also updated the physics... A LOT.
There is a huge difference. The cars handle more realistically and the tires feel like they are gripping to the ground more.
To me it feels much better. I can now tell when the over steer is coming on and even use it to my advantage. I think some of that is down to improved sound as I've noticed the sound of the wheels spinning is more easily discernible and dare I say it, more like the sound my cars make when they struggle for grip.
The brakes and accelerator also seem more analogue and easier to modulate.
With the sound improvements it certainly puts a smile back on my face. :D I never really liked the Spec I physics as I felt it was like driving on ice with poor feedback.
[QUOTE="Halo3_Arbiter"]Yes, GT5 is the best looking racer on any console. But those pics aren't very good. I've seen better looking GT5 screens.Rikusaki
Yeah, like these!
Polyphony must use laser scanning for their car models because it's NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to have car models that perfect.

So it took them 4 sequals to the game to FINALLY make more realistic car physics? Not much of a sim at all, but it never really was...
Gran Turismo needs damage AND better AI. This is coming from one of the biggest GT fanboys of this forum. All the best simulation of physics and pretty cars is pointless if while trying to stick to the race line an AI car rams into you at speed, punts you off the track and keeps moving without penalty.
I won't be getting GT5 if the things Polyphony states will finally be coming don't end up in the game. I've heard this story before for GT4 with respect to AI and it was the same rubbish as the AI in previous GT.
