This is looking to be what GT5 should have been, at the expense of not having a next gen GT for even longer now. As a fan, I'm not happy.

Good for racing fans. I'll probably pass and get Drive Club for PS4.

Yup. Pretty dumb decision. Looks like poor management continues. That's been plaguing the PS3 all gen.

Holiday 2013 is when the PS4 launches. This is just stupid. They should delay it for a year or so and have done a port to the PS4 and launched it on both.

I'm interested in it. I only played Aspec and it was my first experience with racing sims at the time I wasn't a fan since I was used to arcade racers but I played some racing sims after and I liked them.

I like everything I have seen about it so far... Aside from still keeping those PS2 models. As upscaled as they are, they still show their age.Oh, and it being on PS3 not PS4.

They just made the PS4 irrelevant. THis is even worse than GoW2 on PS2, as at least the PS3 had BC at first. Sony... you dumbass...

Sadly so :( , it's now 750 odd PS2 cars and 450 odd PS3 cars :( . I mean they obviously look better than the PS2 models since they are not using the down-poly count models they used for GT4, but still at a fraction of polys that the proper cars have :(

Drive Club can't stand up to a well established franchise with a well known name. Drive Club will just be one of those launch titles everybody forgets about a few months after launch. GT6 won't help that.

Isn't every console irrelevant at launch? It takes about a year or two for a new console to be worth buying IMO. Hopefully Sony goes the backwards compatibility route.

People acting as if GT wasn't coming for PS4. We dont have to wait like with GT5. PS4 easier to develop for and they got many premium cars finished already.

Surely this has to be on PS4 too? Why pass up such a good opportunity for easy sales and instant attention for the console.

Has that been confirmed yet? Considering Poly it probably will be true, but has the standard/premium garbage been confirmed yet? Only number I can find is 1200 cars.

Looks like those 2 and a half years have been dedicated to making the 200 new cars, and redoing the physics and particle engine. And the 19 new tracks. To be fair, when I thihnk about it that way, that's still more than the difference between Forza 3 and Forza 4.

Shouldn't this at the very least be a PS4 launch title since GT5 is the top selling PS3 game? odd. Also, still using PS2 models? Really?

It's sadly putting 2 and 2 together, the confirmed 1200 cars, and they also confirmed 200 new cars. This means they must have kept the PS2 models.

Well, we don't know if they kept the exact same models or upgraded them. Remember, this time around they didn't need to focus 90%of their work on their engine, since they had most of the base and important stuff comes directly from GT5. They might surprise us with the "PS2" models or not. We'll have to see, we need to be optimistic hehe :P

Well they did spend a lot of time on new tracks and the new physics. But they did confirm that nearly every car will have options for aero parts and customisation this time, so looks like we will at least be able to do more with standard cars this time.

As much as I love GT6 I can't say I'm happy this isn't on PS4. Really dumb move of them to release this on the PS3. Hopefully they have something announced for PS4 at E3. I'm already sick and tired of this gen, and GT6 on the PS4 would have been the perfect launch game for me. Hopefully there's a GT7 Prologue available at launch for the PS4. Drive Club is good but no one is going to be playing it if this is on the PS3 when it launches. :x Damn it Sony, use your brain! :P On another note, the game looks sweet. Looks like everything that GT5 was supposed to be and more. Can't believe they still have the PS2 cars but I guess they have to keep them there for sentimental reasons. It's tough getting rid of them since people have so many fond memories of them. The least they can do is model interiors for them though.

Oh, so no PS2 cars announced? :P Thank God! It will be sweet if all cars are premium. I noticed the Lamborghini Countach that used to be Standard in GT5 was a premium in this trailer. Hopefully that means all the other cars got upgraded to premium too.

All of that being done for GT6 too. Yes they still have old models, but few models were upgraded between Forza 3 and 4 neither, and Forza 4 didn't add so many tracks and to my knowledge less cars too. GT6 is also updating it's course creator, and adding far more customisation than it used to have. I would say GT6 is looking to have more improvements.

Sadly so :( , it's now 750 odd PS2 cars and 450 odd PS3 cars :( . I mean they obviously look better than the PS2 models since they are not using the down-poly count models they used for GT4, but still at a fraction of polys that the proper cars have :(

False information.

PD did not announce this.

Oh, so no PS2 cars announced? :P Thank God! It will be sweet if all cars are premium. I noticed the Lamborghini Countach that used to be Standard in GT5 was a premium in this trailer. Hopefully that means all the other cars got upgraded to premium too.

I noticed that too. Swear the Alfa shown was also a standard car in 5 too? At the point with the Alfa Romao you can see some 2D treas which is disappointing, no mention of damage modelling yet either which whilst i personally don't care about it, i know others will be looking for it.

That is absolutely pathetic and inexcusable. Nobody should by this out of principle. They've had more than 3 years since GT5 launched.

Looks like those 2 and a half years have been dedicated to making the 200 new cars, and redoing the physics and particle engine. And the 19 new tracks. To be fair, when I thihnk about it that way, that's still more than the difference between Forza 3 and Forza 4.

But the fact remains they are still lagging behind in terms of content. They are supporting old models. Between Forza 3 and Forza 4 they redid the physics, upped the graphics engines, added a bunch of tracks, and redid the entire online community, yet they did that in only 2 years.

Hasn't Turn 10 been outsourcing their car models? :?
